Uber Eats launches Ted Lasso’s famous shortbread biscuits on the app

Ahead of the second season finale of the Emmy Award winning, global hit Apple Original series “Ted Lasso” this Friday 8th October, Uber Eats is celebrating by giving fans the chance to get Ted’s signature shortbread biscuits, exclusively via the app.

Available in London (Richmond), Birmingham and Manchester, boxes of three moreish biscuits in that iconic pink box will be available through Ted Lasso’s Biscuit Shop from 5pm on Friday, October 8th. So delicious that even Roy Kent may raise a smile, this is an open goal for lovers of Lasso, as each and every buttery bit of biscuity goodness will be available for free, with free delivery (service fees apply).

You may be able to fill two internets with what Ted doesn’t know about football, but you can’t pull the man up on his baking skills, with each mouthful designed to be enjoyed with a cup of classic English tea or “hot brown water”, to quote Ted.

Lasso ultras will know the biscuits became part of Ted’s charm offensive on the show, helping him win over the AFC Richmond statuesque and untested owner Rebecca during their morning meetings, famously dubbed ‘Biscuits with the Boss’.

With this limited-time offer, customers can do the same and gift the delicious shortbread to friends, family, or their own squad – or just keep them for themselves and bask in the warm glow as they watch the season finale.

The biscuits will be available on Friday 8th October, while stocks last. And remember, in the words of Trent Crim, “If the Lasso way is wrong, it’s hard to imagine being right.”
