Are you having trouble deciding what to watch? Are you overwhelmed by the amount of new television available? Fret no more, look no further. Here is a list of the top five shows that are new, or have new seasons available for streaming accompanied by two honorable mentions!

Euphoria

Now that the finale of Euphoria’s explosive second season has finally aired, the entirety of season two is now available to binge on HBO Max. Inventing Anna

Netflix’s Inventing Anna has soared to the top of the charts after its recent debut. Based on true events, the show tells the story of Anna Delvey—better known as Anna Sorokin—a young woman who scammed her way through some of New York City’s most elite social scenes. Inventing Anna follows the rise and fall of Delvey, played by Julia Garner, as reported in the now-famous The Cut article exposing her story, written by Jessica Pressler. Open Netflix to watch the new true-story drama everyone is talking about!

This is Going to Hurt

This is Going to Hurt is true to its name. Based on the book written by Adam Kay, This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor, the show tells Adam’s story of working as a young doctor in the NHS. The show depicts how the stress of the job can affect those who work it, especially the young doctors still learning as they go. It is lovely, sad, and important to watch. This is Going to Hurt is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Peaky Blinders

The final season of this wildly popular drama is currently airing, with two episodes already released for streaming. Celebrated for its gritty style the show follows the Shelby crime family and explores the violent and unpredictable world of organized crime.

Killing Eve

The spy thriller show with incredible performances from Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer has returned for a fourth season. With the first episode of the new season just released last Sunday now is the perfect time to get invested in this action-packed, heart-racing, dark-humored series that follows a British intelligence agent (Sandra Oh) as she attempts to catch an allusive assassin.

Honorable Mentions

Ozark

Well worth an honorable mention, Ozark is an American crime drama that has gripped audiences’ attention for four seasons. Praise-worthy performances and an intense narrative make this show a must-watch. The first part of season four was released this past January and is currently available to watch on Netflix, and the second part is set to release 29th of April.

The Great

The most recent season of the historical comedy-drama has been out since 19 November but it still deserves an honorable mention. This show about Catherine the Great of Russia boasts beautiful sets, fantastic costumes, and a macabre but humorous take on the early years of her reign.
