STEP INSIDE WEMBLEY’S BIGGEST EVER GINGERBREAD HOUSE AT BREAD AHEAD THIS CHRISTMAS

If you’re looking for festive things to do in London this December, Bread Ahead Wembley is delivering serious Christmas magic. The much-loved artisan bakery and baking school has unveiled its biggest Gingerbread House ever, transforming Wembley Park into a winter wonderland just in time for the holidays.

Open now until Sunday 21 December, the towering gingerbread creation is set to delight families, food lovers and festive photo-seekers alike — with a free Santa meet-and-greet for one day only.

A Show-Stopping Gingerbread House in Wembley Park

Built by Bread Ahead’s expert bakers (and a few very busy elves), the Gingerbread House is nothing short of spectacular. Standing at an impressive 4 metres tall, 3.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres deep, the edible installation has been crafted using:

  • Over 400kg of gingerbread

  • 500kg of golden syrup

  • 100kg of icing sugar

  • A whopping 2,000 sweets

The result? A truly jaw-dropping festive centrepiece — and one of the most Instagrammable Christmas attractions in London this year.

Located in the heart of Wembley Park, the Gingerbread House offers the perfect festive backdrop for families, friends and anyone looking to soak up some Christmas cheer.

Meet Santa for Free – One Day Only

For one magical day, the Gingerbread House will transform into a festive grotto, welcoming visitors inside to meet Santa for free.

  • Saturday 20 December

  • 12:00pm – 4:00pm

  • Bread Ahead Wembley, 26–28 Olympic Way, London, HA9 0NP

Visitors can enjoy:

  • Meeting Santa inside the giant Gingerbread House

  • Festive photo opportunities

  • Complimentary sweet treats (while stocks last), including doughnuts, mince pies, hot chocolate — and even mulled wine for parents

No tickets are required, but queues are expected, so arriving early is recommended.

Festive Treats, Baking Magic and Christmas Atmosphere

Bread Ahead is already renowned for its indulgent doughnuts, artisan breads and hands-on baking workshops, making it a must-visit destination year-round. At Christmas, the Wembley bakery goes all out — blending seasonal flavours, festive décor and family-friendly fun.

Whether you’re visiting Santa, snapping photos, or just popping in for a winter warmer, this is a perfect stop while exploring Wembley’s festive offerings.

When to Visit Bread Ahead Wembley

The Gingerbread House will remain on display until the bakery closes on 21 December, so there’s still time to catch the magic.

  • Sunday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
