Spring Drinking Starts Here with Silent Pool Gin’s Seasonal Cocktail Recipes

If your drinks rotation hasn’t shifted for spring yet, Silent Pool Gin may just be the place to start, offering a line-up of serves that make the most of the season’s softer, fresher notes. From citrus-led spritzes to floral blends, these are the drinks to keep you refreshed throughout this season.

The handcrafted English gin is made using 24 botanicals in the Surrey Hills, with strong core notes of juniper, supported by layers of lavender and chamomile, and lifted by citrus notes and kaffir lime – all rounded out by a touch of local honey. Bottled at 43% ABV, Silent Pool is a great choice to enjoy on its own, or as part of more complex serves

Here are our favourite Silent Pool cocktails keeping us refreshed this sunny season:

ENGLISH 75

  • 50ml Silent Pool Gin
  • 20ml Pear Syrup
  • 25ml Bergamot Juice
  • English Sparkling Wine

Shake the gin, pear syrup and bergamot juice, then strain into a flute and top with sparkling wine. Crisp, lightly sweet, and lifted with citrus, this one lands clean and elegant with every sip.

FINO & FLORA

  • 30ml Silent Pool Gin
  • 10ml Fino Sherry
  • 25ml Apricot Brandy
  • 20ml Albury Rosé Wine

Stir all ingredients together and serve in a wine glass, garnished with dried flowers. The result is soft, floral and gently fruit-led, with enough structure to keep it from drifting too sweet.

RASPBERRY FIZZ

  • 40ml Silent Pool Gin
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • 15ml Lemon
  • 15ml Raspberry Syrup
  • 20ml Egg White or vegan foam
  • Soda Water

Double shake, strain over ice, then top with soda. Bright citrus cuts through the berry sweetness, giving a light, textured highball that stays refreshing from start to finish.

WILD PEAR

  • 50ml Silent Pool Gin
  • 10ml Pear Liqueur
  • 25ml Bergamot Juice
  • 15ml Lavender & Chamomile Syrup

Shake and strain over a large ice block. Softer and more aromatic, this leans into the gin’s floral side, with pear adding a rounded sweetness and bergamot keeping it sharp.

COSMO IN BLOOM

  • 45ml Silent Pool Gin
  • 20ml Triple Sec
  • 15ml Cranberry Juice
  • 10ml Lime Juice
  • 15ml Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Simple Syrup

Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Familiar in structure, but brighter and more layered, with citrus doing more of the work than sugar.

You can get your hands on Silent Pool Gin directly from the distillery, as well as via retailers including Master of Malt and Waitrose, with bottles starting from £41.95.
