Dame Joan Collins Declares Rosé Season Open as M&S Unveils Its Biggest Range Yet

Marks & Spencer has officially declared rosé season open, led by Hollywood icon and brand ambassador Joan Collins. Timed just ahead of the first May Bank Holiday, the launch signals the return of summer sipping in suitably glamorous fashion – with the standout range from the British household brand favourite leading the way.

This year marks M&S’ biggest rosé range to date, with 10 new additions landing for Summer 2026. The retailer is predicting a ‘pink summer’, with peak sales expected to hit one bottle every two seconds. To match the momentum, M&S is offering 10% off when customers purchase any four bottles in store throughout the season.

To follow in the footsteps of the legend herself, here are Dame Joan’s top tips for enjoying rosé season:

  • Rosé always tastes better with a view, whether that’s a terrace, a garden, or simply the right company.
  • Think of rosé as sunshine in a glass, ready to be enjoyed whatever the weather.
  • You don’t need a Riviera postcode – just a well-chilled bottle and good taste.

M&S has long held its own when it comes to accessible, well-curated wine, and this season’s rosé line-up delivers plenty worth exploring. From Provence classics to easy-drinking new arrivals, there’s a bottle for every kind of summer occasion. Here are our top four must-haves to keep on your radar these coming months:

La Balconne Organic Provence Rosé (£16.00)

Dame Joan’s personal pick, this organic Provence rosé brings notes of white peach, strawberry and wild herbs. Clean, elegant, and easy to drink, it works just as well as an aperitif as it does alongside seafood or light summer plates.

Classics Côtes de Provence Rosé (£10.00)

A best-seller for a reason, this bottle delivers a crisp, dry profile with bright strawberry and redcurrant notes. Straightforward and reliable, it’s the perfect choice to keep on hand for casual hosting.

Lisboa Bonita Rosé (£8.00)

A new addition from Portugal, this is lighter, fruit-forward, and built for easy drinking. Red berry flavours with a hint of watermelon keep things fresh, making it a strong choice for warm afternoons.

Italian Rosato Pouch 1.5L (£12.00)

Designed for sharing, this larger-format option is practical without compromising on flavour. Expect a fresh, fruity profile with raspberry and cherry notes, ideal for group settings and long, relaxed evenings.

M&S wines are available across all stores nationwide, and you can you’re your closest location right here.  The range is also shoppable online at Ocado, where you can find everything from pantry essentials to wine and party food, freezer staples to fresh fruit and vegetables.
