Fans of gaming and pop culture are in for a treat as David Hayter, the iconic voice behind Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, has been officially announced as a guest at MCM Comic Con London this May.
Hayter will appear across all three days of the convention, running from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May 2026, giving fans plenty of opportunities to meet the legendary voice actor in person.
A Gaming Icon Comes to London
David Hayter first brought Solid Snake to life in 1998’s groundbreaking Metal Gear Solid, a title that helped define modern stealth-action games. Over the years, he has become synonymous with the franchise, voicing multiple versions of the character including Snake, Old Snake and Naked Snake across several entries.
Most recently, Hayter reprised his role in Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater (2025), continuing his legacy with one of gaming’s most recognisable voices.
