Holy Smurf! Popeyes UK, the New Orleans-born chicken brand, has teamed up with Smurfs, ahead of its launch across cinema screens nationwide. A truly unique offering, the limited-edition Smurfberry Range is launching smurfectly in time for the school summer holidays, available nationwide from 15th July.
The range, featuring four new menu items including a Smurf-inspired ice cream Whipz and Shake, calls upon a trending ingredient to recreate the famous, vibrant Smurf-blue hue. Taking inspiration from the iconic ‘Smurfberry’ (the Smurfs’ primary source of nutrients), the Smurfberry Range has been created using Spirulina – the real world’s very own ‘Smurfberry’ equivalent, due to its superfood status and bright blue colour.
Dive into berry bliss with the Smurfberry Shake – featuring the Popeyes® signature creamy Jersey Dairy shake mix with a delicious blend of berry, vanilla and packed with Spirulina. Topped with whipped cream and Smurfberry sauce, the indulgent shake is the ultimate treat for flavour explorers of all ages. Or, try the Smurfberry Whipz featuring velvety Jersey Dairy vanilla ice cream, perfectly swirled with vibrant Smurfberry Sauce. And for a lighter treat, the Mini Smurfberry Whipz are an irresistible addition.
What’s more, the kids Poppy Box, featuring a kids Chicken Sandwich, Wrap or Tenders and a choice of Mac & Cheese, Kids Salad or Fries and a drink, has had a Smurf makeover. Teamed with Smurf activity sheets and crayons, the box is available nationwide for just £2.99 for the duration of the school summer holidays.

Popeyes’ new Smurfberry Range will be available from July 15th until August 31st in Popeyes restaurants and drive-thrus nationwide, and via delivery and the Popeyes UK app. The Popeyes UK app is available to download on iOS and Android now.
