Award-winning comedian, actor, and writer Ramy Youssef is back with his third hour-long HBO Original comedy special, “Ramy Youssef: In Love”, set to premiere Saturday, April 18 on HBO Max. Following his critically acclaimed specials Feelings and More Feelings, Youssef continues to showcase his unique ability to blend heartfelt storytelling with sharp, observational comedy.
Filmed at the historic The Hideout in Chicago, the intimate venue sets the stage for Youssef to connect deeply with his audience. In In Love, he explores a wide range of personal topics, from marriage and pet parenthood to AI and religion, all delivered with his signature mix of humor and heart. The special emphasizes the idea that light and hope can be found in all things when approached through a lens of love.
Nina Rosenstein, EVP of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, praised Youssef’s ability to create intimacy on stage:
“Ramy’s third HBO special feels like a homecoming—for him, and for us. He has this rare ability to make a room feel like it’s just you and him and then uses that closeness to say something that catches you completely off guard.”
