If you’re serious about Pancake Day in London, there’s only one place pulling an all-nighter. East London institution Polo Bar is going big for Shrove Tuesday, serving pancakes 24 hours straight at its legendary 24-hour café near Liverpool Street.
Landing on Tuesday 17th February, Pancake Day is one of the biggest dates in the café’s calendar — and this year, Polo Bar is raising the bar (and the stack) with limited-edition pancake specials alongside its cult-favourite classics.
Known for comfort food done unapologetically well, Polo Bar has flipped over 15,000 pancakes in a single day before — yes, really — making it a go-to destination for late-night eats and post-club breakfasts alike.
What’s on the Pancake Day Menu?
For Pancake Day 2026, Polo Bar is serving up indulgence with zero restraint. Expect fluffy stacks, bold flavours, and a few surprises.
Spicy Full English Pancakes
Breakfast — but louder. Three soft pancakes stacked high with streaky bacon, hash browns, Cumberland sausage, melted cheese and a fried egg, finished with a drizzle of cult-favourite Laoganma crispy chilli oil for a serious kick.
Chocolate Lava Pancakes
A cloud-soft stack topped with molten chocolate lava sponge, fresh cream, strawberries and generous lashings of hot chocolate sauce. This one’s pure chaos — in the best way.
Sticky Toffee Pudding Pancakes
Back by popular demand, these fluffy pancakes come topped with freshly steamed sticky toffee pudding, vanilla ice cream and rich toffee sauce. A dessert classic, reimagined.
Classic options will also be available throughout the day and night for anyone who prefers to keep it traditional.
Win Free Pancakes for a Year
As if unlimited pancakes weren’t enough, one lucky customer will win free pancakes for a year.
Anyone brave enough to order one of Polo Bar’s infamous Pancake Tower Challenges — a towering stack of 12 fluffy pancakes loaded with toppings like seasonal berries, cookies and cream, or banoffee and Biscoff — will be automatically entered into the draw.
Honestly? Worth it for the flex alone.
