NESPRESSO RECIPE REMIX COVENT GARDEN: DUA LIPA-INSPIRED COFFEE POP-UP BRINGS BOLD FLAVOURS TO LONDON

This April, Nespresso is transforming Covent Garden into a playground for coffee lovers with its brand-new immersive pop-up, The Recipe Remix — a six-day experience celebrating bold, experimental flavours and the evolving way Brits drink their coffee.

Running from Tuesday 14th to Sunday 19th April, the free event invites visitors to “remix” their daily brew with a menu that pushes boundaries — think pickle brine, Marmite, and even olive oil.

A Coffee Experience Like No Other

Set in the iconic Covent Garden Piazza, The Recipe Remix is part of Nespresso’s wider Vertuo World campaign, designed to encourage exploration within everyday rituals.

Visitors will step into interactive “worlds” inspired by global coffee culture, complete with photo opportunities, gamified stations, and inventive drinks.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary coffee creation and take part in a “Press to Explore” experience, where prizes range from travel mugs and Aeroccino milk frothers to the coveted Vertuo coffee machine.

The Viral Coffee Creations You Need to Try

At the heart of the experience is a limited-edition menu that blends curiosity with creativity. Among the standout serves:

  • Pickled Coffee Cola – A Double Espresso Chiaro brewed over ice, mixed with diet cola and pickle brine
  • The ‘Love It or Hate It’ Latte – A Melozio coffee blended with Marmite, topped with avocado foam and served with buttered sourdough

These headline drinks reflect viral trends already circulating online — now brought to life in an immersive setting.

Visitors can also head to the nearby Nespresso Covent Garden Boutique to try the Salted Affogoilto, an indulgent twist on the Italian classic featuring vanilla gelato, espresso, sea salt, and olive oil.

  • Pineapple & Tajin Coffarita – A tropical, spicy coffee inspired by South America
  • Rhubarb and Custard Crumbleccino – A nostalgic dessert-style drink with custard and rhubarb foam

Each recipe is crafted using the new Vertuo Up machine, designed for fast brewing, smart connectivity, and enhanced coffee creation modes.

Dua Lipa’s Influence on the Experience

The campaign is also inspired by Nespresso’s global ambassador, Dua Lipa, whose adventurous approach to taste helped shape the concept.
