Nespresso is giving pumpkin spice some competition with its brand-new Cinnamon Apple Crisp coffee, alongside the return of two autumn favourites.
Autumn coffee season is officially here, and Nespresso UK is adding a new flavour to its seasonal line-up.
The coffee brand has unveiled Cinnamon Apple Crisp, a limited-edition coffee designed to capture the comforting flavours of autumn in a single cup. Combining sweet baked apple with warming cinnamon and subtle spicy and biscuit notes, the new blend could be the perfect companion for those first chilly mornings of the season.
And if you’re already mourning the end of summer iced coffees, there’s good news: the new flavour can also be enjoyed over ice.
Meet Nespresso’s Cinnamon Apple Crisp Coffee
Crafted using 100% Arabica beans from Brazil, Cinnamon Apple Crisp has been roasted medium-dark to bring out the beans’ natural sweetness before being infused with its autumn-inspired flavour profile.
The result is a coffee combining cooked apple, piquant cinnamon, spice and biscuit notes, creating a cosy flavour designed for the autumn months.
Nespresso recommends enjoying the new blend Reverso-style, with hot or cold milk added to your cup before brewing the coffee on top. This helps preserve the coffee’s rich crema while creating a smoother, more indulgent drink.
Pumpkin Spice Cake and Maple Pecan Are Back
Cinnamon Apple Crisp isn’t arriving alone. Nespresso is also bringing back two popular seasonal flavours: Pumpkin Spice Cake and Maple Pecan.
Pumpkin Spice Cake
For fans of classic autumn flavours, Pumpkin Spice Cake combines South American Arabica coffee with pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
The coffee is lightly roasted to retain its warm and cereal-like characteristics, while the combination of spices gives it a distinctly seasonal flavour.
Nespresso suggests adding steamed milk or whipped cream for a more indulgent autumn drink.
Maple Pecan
Maple Pecan takes a sweeter and nuttier approach, combining lightly roasted Colombian Arabica beans with the caramel sweetness of maple and rich pecan notes.
The result is a smooth, biscuity coffee that can be enjoyed black, with milk or over ice.
Make Café-Style Autumn Coffee at Home
One of the biggest advantages of Nespresso’s seasonal collection is that you don’t need a cupboard full of syrups or specialist equipment to recreate an autumn-inspired coffee.
All three flavours can be prepared hot or over ice using a compatible Nespresso machine.
For owners of selected Vertuo machines, Coffee Creations mode can also shorten the extraction time to produce a more concentrated and full-bodied coffee with less dilution.
That means you can choose between a lighter seasonal drink or something with considerably more coffee intensity.
