LONDON’S FIRST FRAGRANCE HUB LAUNCHES FOR NATIONAL FRAGRANCE WEEK 2026

The UK fragrance industry is set to reach a new milestone this March as The Fragrance Foundation UK launches London’s first dedicated Fragrance Hub during National Fragrance Week 2026.

Taking place from 18–19 March 2026, the new Central London hub will bring together leading brands, retailers, creators and innovators for two days of discussions, showcases and insight into the future of scent.

Organised by the industry’s leading non-profit fragrance body, the event aims to celebrate the art and science of fragrance while positioning the UK as a global centre for fragrance creativity.

Fragrance’s Cultural and Market Growth

The launch of the Fragrance Hub comes at a time when the global fragrance sector is experiencing remarkable growth. According to industry projections, the global beauty market is expected to grow by around 5% annually through 2030, with fragrance predicted to outperform many other categories.

More than just a beauty product, scent is increasingly being recognised as a form of self-expression, wellbeing and cultural storytelling. Consumers are gravitating towards niche perfume houses and artisan fragrances that emphasise craft, originality and emotional connection.

This shift is particularly evident among Gen Z, who have become the fastest-growing demographic in the beauty sector. Sales among under-24 consumers have increased by 17% year-on-year, highlighting a generation that values individuality and identity-driven products.

Inside London’s First Fragrance Hub

The newly announced Fragrance Hub will act as the centrepiece of National Fragrance Week. Located in Central London, the space will host industry leaders and creatives exploring the trends shaping the future of scent.

Key themes expected to be discussed include:

  • AI-powered fragrance discovery

  • Digital influence and social media in perfume culture

  • Sustainability and ethical sourcing

  • Ingredient innovation and fragrance technology

  • Shifts in consumer behaviour

The hub is designed to create a collaborative environment where brands and innovators can exchange ideas while showcasing the next wave of fragrance creativity.

Spotlight on Emerging Fragrance Talent

A major highlight of the week will be the unveiling of the 2026 Next Gen cohort, an accelerator programme created by The Fragrance Foundation UK in partnership with Growth Studio.

“As the voice of scent, we are proud to launch the first National Fragrance Week Hub as fragrance continues to outperform the wider beauty market and gain cultural significance. The Hub brings together innovation, craft and talent, while National Fragrance Week remains both a celebration of excellence and a platform for what comes next.”

Vanita Sabnani Dalamal, Chair of The Fragrance Foundation UK

The initiative supports emerging fragrance entrepreneurs and independent brands through mentorship, exposure and industry connections.

During a special showcase presentation, founders from the cohort will present their concepts and scent creations to an audience of retail buyers, media and fragrance industry leaders. The event offers an early look at the next generation of fragrance innovators and storytellers.

A Celebration of Scent Innovation

Vanita Sabnani Dalamal, Chair of The Fragrance Foundation UK, said the launch represents a significant step for the industry.

She explained that fragrance continues to outperform the wider beauty market while gaining cultural significance, making the Fragrance Hub a timely addition to the UK’s creative landscape.

By bringing together innovation, craftsmanship and emerging talent, the hub aims to highlight both current excellence and the future direction of fragrance.

Strengthening the UK’s Global Fragrance Influence

Through events like National Fragrance Week 2026, the organisation hopes to reinforce the UK’s role within the global fragrance industry.

Alongside celebrating established brands, the initiative focuses on nurturing new talent, supporting education and responding to evolving consumer trends.

As fragrance continues to evolve beyond traditional beauty boundaries, London’s first Fragrance Hub signals a growing recognition of scent as both an art form and a powerful cultural medium.
