MOMO Kombucha has introduced its brand new Amadora’s Passion Fruit Kombucha, in a seasonal collaboration with Natoora that centres around artisanal production, rare passion fruit, and bright tropical taste profiles. The partnership also marks MOMO’s first Spanish-grown cultivar collaboration, and their first project with a female producer in a milestone moment for the brand.
The base of Amadora’s Passion Fruit Kombucha is MOMO’s raw, unfiltered kombucha itself, providing the ideal backdrop for healthy living cultures to pair with the tropical profile of the fruit.
Amadora’s passion fruit grows in Mairena del Alcor, Seville, and is harvested by letting perfectly ripe fruit drop naturally, a practice that produces sweeter, less acidic fruit with greater aromatic depth. Organic sencha and assam teas form the MOMO Kombucha base, slowly fermented to balance sweetness and tang, before adding in the drop-ripened passion fruit to preserve its rich fragrance. The finished product is vibrant, full of sweet flavour notes carried by the fruit, and with a slight acidity tempered by fermented tea for a well-balanced and thirst-quenching finish.
Now available to purchase from both MOMO’s online store, leading organic retailers, and GAIL’s Bakery, this new flavour delivers a unique dimension to the kombucha trend. Staying true to its values, the product is certified organic by the Soil Association, and its sales help support Natoora’s Farm Fund, which invests in growers, particularly those practising sustainable methods.
MOMO Kombucha is based at New Covent Garden Market in South London, founded by a husband-and-wife team who brew in small batches using traditional methods. Their core range, which includes Ginger Lemon, Turmeric, Elderflower, and Raspberry-Hibiscus, has won multiple Great Taste Awards. Each bottle is brewed in glass, left unfiltered, and made with slow-pressed juice and fine loose-leaf teas.
Natoora, for its part, brings decades of experience sourcing exceptional fruit, sustaining rare seed varieties, and supporting farmers with integrity. Their work with Amadora in Seville is a key example of this, where fruit is selected flavour rather than durability, and collaboration is directly with the grower.
You can purchase the new Amadora’s Passion Fruit Kombucha (RRP £4.50) at MOMO’s online store, Natoora, GAIL’s Bakery, Selfridges, Planet Organic, and Whole Foods Market.
