With Easter just weeks away, Lidl has announced it is slashing the prices of its Easter Pick of the Week deals to just 15p, making the retailer cheapest on the market and saving shoppers up to 89% per item.
Available from the 15th April in stores nationwide, popular staple items including Carrots, White Potatoes and Green Beans have all been reduced just in time for savvy shoppers looking to put on a showstopping spread this Easter Sunday.

- White Potatoes (2 kg) – 15p
- Green Beans (220g) – 15p
- Swede (per item) – 15p
- Parsnips (500g) – 15p
- Spring Onions (per bunch) – 15p

This is an investment directly from the discounter, which has a long-standing commitment to supporting British agriculture, and has no impact on the payment for British farmers. The supermarket carefully plans any promotions, which means, regardless of the Easter promotional activity in store, growers receive their usual contracted price.
Last year, the supermarket announced a £70 million investment in British root veg suppliers specifically through long-term contracts, supporting them through adverse weather conditions, giving them certainty and security to invest in their operations.
Overarchingly, two thirds of Lidl’s core produce comes from UK farmers, working directly with over 650 suppliers across the country, giving them access to local and international markets.
Lidl’s Easter Pick of the Week deals are available in stores nationwide from the 15th April, whilst stocks last.
