“CONFESS I LOVED YOU FROM THE START” | LAUFEY JOINS FORTNITE FESTIVAL SEASON 14 WITH NEW MUSIC PASS, SKINS AND SONGS!

Two-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Laufey is officially heading into Fortnite as the Season 14 Icon for Fortnite Festival, bringing her signature blend of jazz, pop and vintage-inspired aesthetics to the game. The announcement follows her recent performance at Coachella, further cementing her rising influence across both music and digital culture.

Laufey Takes Centre Stage in Fortnite Festival

Launching from April 16, Fortnite players can fully immerse themselves in Laufey’s romantic, old-Hollywood-inspired world. Season 14 introduces a brand-new Emberlight Music Pass, designed to reflect her elegant style and musical identity while offering players a deeper, more interactive performance experience.

The Music Pass is included for subscribers of Fortnite Crew and immediately unlocks the White Dress Laufey Outfit. As players progress, they’ll gain access to a collection of themed rewards including instruments, Auras, and the “Madwoman” Jam Track, alongside the Golden Era Laufey Outfit.

Both outfits draw inspiration from custom looks created by Bode for Laufey’s “A Matter of Time” tour, blending classic tailoring with a contemporary performance edge.

New Skins, Tracks and Cosmetics Hit the Item Shop

Alongside the Music Pass, the Fortnite Item Shop will feature additional Laufey-inspired cosmetics. Players can purchase the Lover Girl Laufey Outfit, which takes cues from her viral “Lover Girl” music video look designed by Valentino.

Other items include the Mei Mei the Bunny Back Bling, as well as Jam Tracks and emotes for fan-favourite songs “Lover Girl” and “Tough Luck,” giving players even more ways to express themselves in-game.

Major Gameplay Updates Transform Fortnite Festival

Season 14 isn’t just about cosmetics — it also introduces some of the biggest gameplay upgrades to Fortnite Festival yet, enhancing how players interact with music in-game.

The new Mic Vocals feature allows players to sing along in real time using compatible microphones, turning Fortnite Festival into a more immersive karaoke-style experience. Meanwhile, Pro Drums support enables players to connect compatible drum kits, bringing a more authentic rhythm gameplay feel.

A new Quick Mix UI also streamlines the experience, allowing players to seamlessly switch between tracks while jamming, keeping the energy flowing without interruption.

Fortnite Continues to Blend Music and Gaming

With previous collaborations featuring major artists and live events, Epic Games continues to push the boundaries of interactive entertainment. Laufey’s addition to Fortnite Festival highlights the platform’s ongoing commitment to showcasing diverse musical talent while expanding gameplay innovation.

As Fortnite evolves beyond a traditional battle royale into a fully-fledged entertainment hub, Season 14 stands as another example of how music, fashion and gaming culture are colliding in exciting new ways.
