LEGO House in Billund, Denmark has unveiled LEGO Masters Academy: Level 1 – “Splash into the Bricks”, a brand-new interactive building experience designed to bring families, friends, and LEGO fans together through playful creativity. Launching on 9 February 2026, the experience marks the most accessible entry point yet into the LEGO Masters Academy journey at the Home of the Brick.
Set within a vibrant pond-themed LEGO world, Level 1 invites guests to dive into hands-on building where ducks take flight, frogs spin through the air, and bugs buzz to life. The experience prioritises curiosity, experimentation, and shared fun, welcoming builders of all ages and skill levels to explore LEGO play on equal terms.
Creative LEGO play for all ages
Developed by the LEGO House Experience Team, LEGO Masters Academy Level 1 is a 60-minute guided session, led by LEGO House Play Agents and offered in both English and Danish. Guests build at individual stations while taking part in playful group challenges that bring tables together, creating a relaxed, social atmosphere centred around collaboration rather than competition.
During the session, participants will create their own LEGO animals — from quirky ducks and spinning frogs to cute bugs packed with personality — alongside simple kinetic builds such as catapults, spinners, and slingshots that add movement and humour to the experience.

Designed to spark creativity beyond LEGO House
Unlike many guided attractions, LEGO Masters Academy Level 1 encourages creativity to continue long after the visit ends. At the end of each session, guests are able to take home the LEGO builds they’ve created, supporting continued play and imagination beyond LEGO House itself.
This focus on extending creative learning aligns with LEGO House’s wider philosophy of Learning Through Play, which underpins all experiences across the venue — a concept we’ve previously explored in our coverage of LEGO House’s interactive exhibitions.

Special guest LEGO Masters sessions announced
To celebrate the launch of Level 1, LEGO House will host two exclusive introductory guest sessions featuring renowned LEGO designers and LEGO Masters judges.
On 9 February 2026, guests can attend a Level 1 session with Søren Dyrhøj, LEGO Designer and former LEGO Masters Denmark judge. Following the session, Søren will take part in a meet and greet in LEGO Square from 14:30–15:30 CET.
A second special session takes place on 16 February 2026, featuring Amy Corbett, LEGO Design Lead and LEGO Masters US judge. Amy will also host a meet and greet in LEGO Square from 14:30–15:30 CET, giving fans the chance to meet one of the most recognisable faces in the LEGO Masters universe.
