Mexican and South American favourite Las Iguanas is turning February into a month-long celebration of love, dating, and cocktails with two limited-edition drinks: the Red Flag and Green Flag.
From 1st to 28th February 2026, guests at Las Iguanas can sip on the cheeky Red Flag or the refreshing Green Flag cocktails, inspired by popular dating terms. A “green flag” signals a promising match, while a “red flag” is a warning sign—though sometimes the thrill is in ignoring it.
Las Iguanas, known for its vibrant Mexican and Latin American cuisine, upbeat urban vibe, and fiesta-ready music, invites visitors to celebrate love, friendship, and dating adventures with these playful drinks and interactive experiences.
Free Cocktails via App and In-Restaurant Experiences
Las Iguanas is making the month even more enticing with free cocktails. On the Las Iguanas app, the platform transforms into a cocktail dating game: swipe left or right to find your perfect drink match, and if you match, Las Iguanas will load a free cocktail of your choice onto the app.
In restaurants, National Red Flag Day falls on Thursday 19th February 2026. Guests with an active dating app profile can claim a free Red Flag cocktail, while those showing a wedding ring—or proof they’re not on dating apps—receive a free Green Flag cocktail instead.
Meet the Cocktails
- Green Flag (£10.95): Crisp, fresh, and balanced, this cocktail mixes Olmeca Blanco Tequila with Midori, grapefruit, apple, and lime for bright citrus and juicy fruit notes. Smooth, refreshing, and undeniably a green flag.
- Red Flag (£10.95): Sweet, bold, and a little bit dangerous, the Red Flag blends Havana Cuban Spiced Rum with strawberry purée, strawberry liqueur, lime, and grenadine. It’s the red flag you can’t resist. Both cocktails also come in non-alcoholic versions.
