Known for its modern approach to Indian dining, KOKUM brings together vibrant spices, classic techniques, and comforting flavours in a menu that blends the best of British tradition with Indian culinary heritage. Available every Sunday, the new offering is set to become a must-try winter staple for locals and visitors alike.
A Modern Take on the Classic Sunday Roast
Each roast is thoughtfully crafted and served with a generous selection of trimmings, including roasted spiced potatoes, house pickle, naan, papad, and fresh salad. Guests can choose from four standout options, catering to meat lovers, seafood fans, and vegetarians.
The Tandoori Roast Chicken sees chicken marinated in yoghurt, ginger, garlic, lemon, and aromatic tandoori spices before being cooked in a traditional tandoor for a signature smoky char. It’s served with rich makhani gravy and cooling raita for balance.
For something heartier, the Roast Shank of Lamb is slow-roasted until meltingly tender, infused with warm spices and aromatics, and paired with a deeply flavourful nihari gravy.
Vegetarians are well catered for with the Roast Gobi, featuring charred cauliflower florets roasted until crisp on the outside and soft within, accompanied by KOKUM’s indulgent makhani gravy.
Seafood lovers can opt for the Roast Kingfish Steak, marinated in coastal spices and gently roasted in banana leaf, then finished with a light, creamy coconut gravy that adds subtle richness without overpowering the fish.
Price, Drinks and Availability
Each roast, including all trimmings, is priced between £17 and £25, offering excellent value for a premium Sunday dining experience in London. The Indian Roast menu will be available every Sunday, making it ideal for relaxed weekend lunches and cosy winter evenings.
To complete the experience, guests can pair their roast with one of KOKUM’s beers on tap, including Moretti, Amstel, Guinness, and more.
