To celebrate the launch of The North Face’s revolutionary VECTIV trail running shoes, The North Face will be hosting an evening of footwear testing and tales from the trails with The North Face Explorer James Poole.
Vectiv, is athlete tested, lab proven. Vectiv is a unique and visible technology, created and testing with The North Face’s top trail running athletes.
During the session you will explore some of the less well known parts of this beautiful location, put the top of the range VECTIV Flight shoes through their paces and get technique tips from James on how to be a better trail runner. On return to The Marlborough, James will give a short talk on how to plan, create and run your own running adventures – whether that be at your local trail or in far flung places. You MUST have a ticket to attend:
- STEP 1: Select admission ticket;
- STEP 2: Select your shoe size in the add-ons.

MEETING POINT: The Marlborough
TRANSPORT: 10-15 minutes walk from Richmond Station
SESSION INFO: The run will involve a 8km loop around Richmond Park with a few stops to practice running technique. The session is £5 and includes a free soft or alcoholic drink at the end of the run and all abilities are welcome. Once finished, you can return your shoes and collect your The North Face Hydro Flask.
James is a member of The North Face’s Explorer Team and an avid ultra runner, coach and adventurer. Running has taken him all over the world and he has taken part in some of the world’s biggest and most prestigious ultra races including UTMB, Western States Endurance Run, Transgrancanaria, Lavaredo, Spartathlon and more recently the 430km Ultra Gobi – arguable the hardest single stage desert race on the planet – where he finished in fifty place in 93hrs.
