Jimmy’s BBQ Club is back on Thursday 24th April! Located on London’s buzzing South Bank, the alfresco pop-up restaurant celebrates a remarkable eighth anniversary in the location. It’s a summer bucket list essential! Bookings are open now.
Developed by the original king of pop ups, Jimmy Garcia, the mouthwatering six-course tasting menu focuses on seasonal, responsibly sourced produce. And this isn’t any ordinary restaurant experience. Every course has at least one element cooked over each table’s Big Green Egg barbecue. All this whilst admiring stunning views of the Thames, and London’s famous landmarks.
The generous six-course menu is an absolute treat for the senses. The first course is a melt-in-the mouth bone marrow, flame-grilled on the tableside barbeque, then mixed with parsley and caper salad, pink fire onions and burnt lemon, and served on toasted sourdough.
Next up is Wye Valley asparagus finished on the barbeque then served with goat’s curd, a brown butter pangrattato and garlic three ways. Chalk stream trout is smoked at the table and served with delicate accompaniments of cultured cream, pickled pink lady apple, pickled cucumber and a dill oil. A punchy chicken dish is inspired by chef Heidi’s travels across Thailand. Marinated chicken thigh is charred on the barbeque and comes alongside Panang sweet potato puree, pak choi from Sussex and a charred corn and coriander salsa. The last savoury course is an unctuous combination of smoked and braised ox cheek with courgette baba ganoush and salsa verde on a piadina. To finish, a dessert reminiscent of a pina colada to whisk you away to a tropical island. Rum cured pineapple is fire-cooked then served with pineapple biscuit crumb, vanilla Hackney Gelato and a smoked caramel sauce. Vegetarian and vegan menus are available.
Street food is available all day with a tempting menu of Jimmy’s famous beef burger made with bone marrow, Gochujang Chicken Wings, Panang Chicken salad boxes, Halloumi Fries and much more. There’s even options for kids. No booking required, just swing by!

The rooftop terrace provides elevated views of the river and is available for private hire.
