JD, the leading retailer for sports, fashion and lifestyle brands, is excited to bring back a true streetwear icon—the New Balance 1000—revived and reworked in four new colours with the exclusive cyber-jade colourway available only at JD. Following its celebrated comeback in late 2024, the iconic silhouette from New Balance is once again making noise—this time with updated palettes and a reimagined edge.
Originally released in 1999, the New Balance 1000 was designed as a performance running trainer with a futuristic Y2K aesthetic. Its standout features—including oversized overlays, neon eyelets, and a sculpted midsole—made it an instant classic. After spending over a decade in the archives, the model made its return in 2024.
Now, the story continues. Reintroducing the 1000 – Back by popular demand, New Balance is expanding the 1000 lineup with four fresh colourways, each blending the iconic DNA of the original design with modern updates. The kicks feature inverted mesh and leather overlays, layered to create a textured, techwear-inspired aesthetic. The segmented outsole is built with ABZORB cushioning in the heel and forefoot for next-level comfort, while a durable rubber outsole ensures grip and traction on urban terrain.
Each pair is finished with the signature ‘N’ logo on the sidewalls—a symbol of quality, culture, and innovation.
From the Studio to the Streets To bring the campaign to life, JD has partnered with MOBO award-winning drill artist Pozer and Amsterdam-based rapper Lusho. After previously teaming up for their hit single Cross Waters, the artists reunite to headline the latest drop, bringing street-certified energy to the collection.
Whether you’re going sleek with Black, Silver and Jade, or turning heads with the bold White, Navy and Cream option, the New Balance 1000 offers a colourway for every vibe and every city.
The JD New Balance 1000 collection is available now, both in-store and online – shop here. Make your move in London, Rotterdam, Marseille and beyond—because these kicks weren’t made to sit still.
