Hard Rock International is marking International Women’s Month with a global celebration of women in music, launching its ‘Women Empower’ content series alongside live performances, cultural events and special collaborations across several European properties.
The initiative, delivered in partnership with long-time collaborator The Coca-Cola Company, highlights women shaping the music industry both on stage and behind the scenes. Throughout March, hotels in Madrid, Tenerife, Marbella and Davos will host performances, networking events and immersive experiences designed to spotlight female talent.
The campaign also includes a global goal of hosting 1,000 live music events celebrating women, alongside exclusive menu items, limited-edition merchandise and charitable donations supporting equality in the music industry.
Live Music and Community Events Across Europe
Madrid
At Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, weekly concerts at the venue GMT+1 will showcase female artists including Cadela Molina, Xara Bad, Laura Chernov, Elena Groove and Pilar Moxo.
The hotel is also collaborating with Diaconia, donating a percentage of proceeds from the events to support the organisation’s work tackling human trafficking.
Tenerife
At Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, guests can enjoy weekly live performances in the Lobby and at The16th, featuring women-led acts such as Hayley and The Dynamos, Ana Obando and Claudia Rutten.
Additional experiences include:

Guests staying at Hard Rock Hotel Davos can rent curated vinyl packages featuring female artists throughout March. On March 8, guests will also receive 20% off food and beverage, spa services and Rock Shop purchases in honour of International Women’s Day.
‘Women Empower’ Documentary Series
The ‘Women Empower’ campaign also includes a series of micro-documentaries exploring the stories of women working across different roles in the music industry.
According to Hard Rock, fewer than 5% of music and media creators are women, making the initiative a key platform for visibility and representation.
Featured participants include:
-
Janelle Abraham – Director and film producer
-
Kat Luna – Singer-songwriter
-
Minami Minami – Composer, dancer and singer
-
Claire Murphy – Guitar tech
-
Mayna Nevarez – CEO and founder of Nevarez Communications
-
Wendy Ong – Co-President and CMO at TaP Music
The short documentaries explore their creative journeys, inspirations and the challenges they’ve faced while building careers in music.
Supporting Women in Music
As part of the campaign, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation—the charitable arm of Hard Rock—will donate $100,000 to Women in Music, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing equality and opportunity across the music industry.
Nicole Barsalona, President of Women in Music, said the partnership highlights the importance of recognising women across the entire industry, including behind-the-scenes roles that help drive music forward.
