Hackney Gelato Collaborates with Kitchen at Holmes for Summer’s Most Coveted Cocktail Menu

Hackney Gelato has taken over the terrace at Kitchen at Holmes this season, bringing with it what could be the season’s most sought-after cocktail. The Strawberries & Cream Margarita blends Hackney Gelato’s Clotted Cream & Strawberry gelato with tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice, creating a Wimbledon-worthy twist on the classic serve. Running through to September, the collaboration transforms the tucked-away Baker Street hotspot into one of London’s sweetest must-visit summer destinations.

Set within a Mediterranean-inspired terrace dressed with florals and gelato-toned furnishings, the seasonal pop-up will be serving up scoops, cocktails, and desserts in the perfect space for long afternoons in the sun. The Hackney Gelato trike will serve cones and tubs for those passing by, while guests settling in can explore an exclusive menu created around the artisan gelato brand’s best-loved flavours.

Guests can build their own affogato by pairing flavours such as Sicilian Pistachio, Madagascan Vanilla, Sea Salted Caramel, or Cookies & Cream with espresso, toppings, and optional ‘adult’ additions including Amaretto, Frangelico, or Baileys. Elsewhere, the Sea Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, also set to be a cocktail headliner, combines gelato with vodka, Kahlua, and espresso, while the Classic Sgroppino mixes Sicilian Lemon Sorbetto with prosecco and vodka for a refreshing take on the Italian favourite. Those with an even sweeter tooth can also order the Hackney Gelato Sundae or a Brioche Ice Cream Sandwich filled with two scoops of their choosing.

The collaboration has officially kicked off the summer of indulgence in London. Founded by former chefs, Hackney Gelato is widely adored for its top quality treats, supplying some of London’s leading restaurants and becoming a household name in its own right. Kitchen at Holmes has swiftly grown into a Marylebone favourite for Mediterranean-inspired dining, collaborating with cult brands and fan favourites to offer its fans a completely new way to experience the venue.

Hidden in plain sight on bustling Baker Street, the venue has intentionally maintained a low profile, crafting an exclusive, in-the-know vibe that reflects the Holmes Hotel’s Sherlock-inspired theme perfectly. It feels entirely fitting that one of the summer’s most exciting terrace collaborations should be tucked away here, offering visitors and Londoners alike a stylish spot to embrace terrace season with a playful – and delicious – twist.

The Kitchen at Holmes x Hackney Gelato Terrace can be found at Kitchen at Holmes, 108 Baker Street, London W1U 6LJ. You can book your table for the restaurant, and find out more about what’s on offer right here.
