Grime legend, D Double E, has today announced that he will be dropping one of the first worldwide Web3-based communities in the history of the genre to help fans connect more closely with his music. D Double E has partnered with YellowHeart, the leading Web3 marketplace for music and ticketing, to roll out his community.
The exclusive NFT drop will be released in 3 different formats:
NFT 1: The first of the three-part NFT range will include a signed copy of his latest album, Bluku Bluku 2.
NFT 2: The second will include a signed copy of Bluku Bluku 2 and an exclusive live streamed performance with D Double E.
NFT 3: The third will also include these perks, along with several experiences D Double E has never made accessible to fans. Community members with this range will have the opportunity to be D Double E’s personal guest for the day at a festival, watch him perform from the stage with his crew and other VIPs, hang out in his trailer in between sets and after the show.
“I’m always searching for new and innovative ways to give my fans what they want – whether it’s unreleased music, tour perks, or just having the opportunity meeting them face to face. They’ve supported me through my whole journey so it’s important that I give back to them too.”D Double E
YellowHeart founder and CEO, Josh Katz, said: “YellowHeart is committed to working with artists to help them connect more directly with their core fans, and building a Web3-based community is one of the most effective approaches to accomplish this. D Double E has been a massive trailblazer for grime music, which is why it’s no surprise to our team that he’s one of the first musicians in the genre to channel this new technology to deliver for his community.”
D Double E selected YellowHeart to roll out his Web3-based community because of the marketplace’s expertise and impressive track record when it comes to NFT music. YellowHeart has activated similar projects for multiple other world-renowned artists, spanning Kings of Leon, to Maroon 5, to Julian Lennon, to Jerry Garcia, and The Disco Biscuits.
D Double E’s Web3-based community empowers fans to connect with him in ways that go far beyond a social media following since it facilitates two-way engagement. This is especially powerful since some fans can’t have shared experiences with D Double E if they’re not able to travel to see him on tour.
