Glide Returns to Battersea Power Station with London’s First Riverside Skate Trail

Boots Presents Glide at Battersea Power Station returns this winter, offering a riverside skating experience unlike any other in London. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Grade II* listed building, the enviable location offers sweeping views of the Thames and the city skyline, making this one of the coolest and most unique winter activities on the festive calendar.

This year, the rink comprises three interconnecting ice surfaces, with a brand-new scenic skate trail introduced which extends the route and providing skaters of all levels with a continuous, flowing path across the ice to slide, spin, or practice their techniques.

Private hire igloos, thanks to Air Canada, offer a secluded spot to unwind and take in the atmosphere in comfort, while the vintage carousel and helter-skelter deliver fairground fun in style. Darts and curling are new for interactive activities this year, while favourites such as the colours game and tin can alley make a return.

The Glass House bar will again be serving up a curated selection of food and drink, from Made of Dough pizza and bar snacks to Chocomel hot chocolate and Prime Time award-winning low-calorie beers. Vintage sparkling wines and festive cocktails will be on the drinks menu, while live entertainment will take centre stage, from acoustic sessions to KISS DJ sets. Its transparent walls and ceiling offer uninterrupted views of the rink and the Power Station, for the ultimate festive, winter feel.

Battersea Power Station has been transformed into one of London’s most dynamic riverside neighbourhoods, housing over 150 shops, bars, and restaurants. The area combines premium, high-street, and independent retailers alongside a diverse selection of food and drink venues, including Duck and Rice, Sticks ‘N’ Sushi, and Control Room B. Alongside their visit, guests can ascend Lift 109, a glass elevator rising the north-west chimney, for panoramic views of the London skyline – and the ideal viewpoint for the festive attraction just below.

Glide at Battersea Power Station will be open from Friday 7th November 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2026. Tickets start at £17 for adults and £10.50 for children aged 12 and under, and are now available to book right here.
