Across the two days (August 27/28th) the Channel One Soundsystem presented by G-SHOCK will host the next generation of sound system leads, from performers to the support teams.
The Sound System Futures Programme amplified by G-SHOCK UK is the brainchild of Lin Kam Art @linett_kamala, one of first girl DJs to perform at a Notting Hill Carnival sound system in the early 1980s. Its aim is to inspire the next generation to be part of the future legacy and custodians of sound system culture at Notting Hill Carnival and beyond.
For the program talents, the weekend’s events conclude a two-week build-up where they have had the opportunity to explore different aspects of sound system culture and meet key figures.
