Two of the world’s most recognisable brands, G-SHOCK and KFC, proudly announce a unique and wholly unexpected collaboration this festive season, celebrating two very different Japanese cultural icons. This exclusive partnership unites the global watch brand G-SHOCK and its Japanese roots – founded in Tokyo in 1983 – with KFC and its longstanding status as a cherished Christmas tradition in Japan.
Since the mid-1970s, KFC, the international quick service restaurant, has been synonymous with Christmas in Japan. Families across the country have embraced “Kentucky is Christmas” as a heartwarming holiday ritual and made the family bucket a Christmas Day staple.
To celebrate, G-SHOCK and KFC are launching an epic limited edition version of its iconic 2100 timepiece, to bring a touch of Japanese Christmas magic to Brit’s festive traditions this year. This rich red iteration is adorned with the unmistakable KFC branding to create a finger lickin’ good watch that leans into the G-SHOCK “Built Different” mantra.
Quintessentially G-SHOCK, the watch is a testament to the brand’s renowned toughness and resilience. The bold design is complemented by features including the latest carbon core guard technology, 200-meter water resistance, shock resistance, alarms, a countdown timer, and more.
