Forget the fads – which of these 7 personal wellness styles are you?

In response to new findings that highlight how almost 9 out of 10 Brits suspect ‘wellness’ trends may be having a negative impact on their physical and mental health; TUI BLUE has launched its own wellness style test in collaboration with celebrated RealTalk therapist Tasha Bailey.

By exploring personality preferences, from hobbies to holiday habits, the test can help identify what style of wellness you are. Whether you’re an ‘Active Adventurer’ or a ‘Spiritual Harmoniser’, TUI BLUE is helping Brits explore the types of things that will help them ‘find their happy’ before they go on holiday.

TUI BLUE Wellness Styles:

Culture connoisseur: You’re inspired by authentic exploration, and you can often be found strolling through local markets, exploring landmarks and admiring beautiful architecture. Immersing yourself in the latest exhibitions, theatre shows, movies and live music contributes to your sense of happiness. You love connecting with history, too, and getting a taste of different cultures by trying new food. You’re thirsty for knowledge and understanding with an appreciation of art and design.

Social connector: You find you’re happy through connecting with those around you. From chatting to friends over dinner, spending quality time with loved ones or sharing a glass of wine with your partner. You feel happiest and most comfortable surrounded by the important people in your life, whether that’s going on a day out or hosting friends for dinner. You love making new friends, too, and are happy to strike up a conversation in any situation, on the train, in the office or on a sunlounger on the beach.

Sensation seeker: You allow your senses to dictate your path in life. The smell of fresh coffee on a Saturday morning, followed by a trip to the farmers’ market with your favourite playlist or podcast playing through your headphones, you’re always on the lookout for the next way to satisfy the senses. From delicious food to inspiring artwork, you embrace the world for all of its beauty, and enjoy new experiences to feel fulfilled and your true authentic self.

Active adventurer: You’re the sort of person that loves to be on the go. The next challenge is right around the corner. As soon as you’re out the door, you’re exploring and discovering new places, and the latest new activity. Your to-do list is full of fun stuff rather than the mundane day-to-day, and nothing stops you from planning your next adventure. You’re always willing to give something new a try and your list of interests is ever-growing. Keeping your body busy is what keeps your mind calm.

Spiritual harmoniser: Finding your happy comes from reflecting on your inner self. Making deep connections with those around you, whilst also valuing your alone time, you feel your best when connecting with your own spirituality. You spend time journaling and putting your thoughts on paper, and are constantly being inspired by experiences that help you to become more mindful and meditative. You’re influenced by spiritual and emotional connections, and go through life looking for meaningful experiences.

Playful pioneer: Connecting to your inner child is how you take care of your own wellbeing. Embracing curiosity and playfulness, you live life with a charming optimism and love to try new things. People are attracted to your sense of humour and you’re usually surrounded by a group of close friends, whether out at a morning exercise class, or exploring nature, it’s safe to say you bring the energy to every situation and are always at the heart of the fun.

Reclined relaxer: Your wellness is all about ‘me time’. Unwinding with your favourite book in tow, you’re laidback and like to take time to slow down and unwind. You love to spoil yourself with indulgent experiences, from delicious dinners to a day at the spa. Whether enjoying a manicure, soaking in a hot bath or lounging in the sun, your happiness is found through down time and treating yourself when you need it. You know that spending time enjoying the finer things in life, and much-needed pampering, is what helps relax your body and mind.
