Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer and new episodic images for Fallout Season 2, confirming the return of its critically acclaimed series on 17th December 2025. The upcoming eight-episode season will release one episode per week, culminating in the season finale on 4th February 2026.
The newly released trailer teases a high-octane season filled with mutated creatures, intense action sequences, and gripping mysteries set across the wasteland. Fans can also expect exciting cast reveals, including Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin, joining a star-studded lineup that features Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).
Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Season 1’s dramatic finale, taking viewers from the irradiated Mojave Wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. With its mix of dark humour, complex world-building, and thrilling adventure, the series promises to expand the universe of one of the greatest video game franchises ever.
Fallout, produced by Kilter Films, is helmed by executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serving as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios also executive produces, alongside James Altman and Margot Lulick. The first season has already attracted over 100 million viewers worldwide, ranking among Prime Video’s top three most-watched titles. All episodes from Season 1 are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
Based on the iconic Fallout video game series, the show explores a world where the “haves” and “have-nots” must navigate life centuries after a nuclear apocalypse. Luxurious fallout shelters are left behind as humanity returns to the irradiated wasteland, uncovering a universe that is as violent as it is bizarre.
Prime Video continues to grow as a leading streaming service, offering a range of content including original series such as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Reacher, The Boys, and UK Originals like Clarkson’s Farm and The Devil’s Hour. Subscribers also gain access to licensed fan favourites, live sports including the UEFA Champions League, and over 700 free ad-supported channels. For more information, visit Prime Video UK.
With the release of the Season 2 trailer, anticipation is higher than ever for Fallout’s return to the small screen. Fans of post-apocalyptic storytelling and action-packed adventure won’t want to miss it.
