F1 75 fever takes over the world

 

London’s O2 Arena hosted the F1 75 Live event, marking the 75th anniversary of Formula 1. This unprecedented gathering featured all ten teams and twenty drivers unveiling their liveries for the upcoming season, setting the stage for a thrilling year ahead.

The F1 75 Live event was a spectacle of speed, style, and entertainment. Hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, the evening featured performances by multiple Grammy Award winner – Tems, US country sensation Kane Brown, multi-platinum artist Machine Gun Kelly, composer Brian Tyler, and the iconic British band Take That. These musical acts added a vibrant energy to the proceedings, delighting fans both in the arena and those watching the live broadcast.

Each team took the stage to reveal their new car designs and driver line-ups for the 2025 season. Notably, Lewis Hamilton made his first public appearance in Ferrari colors, signaling a new chapter in his illustrious career. The F1 75 Live event was broadcast live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and ESPN in the United States, as well as across Formula One’s social media channels. The live stream attracted over 1.1 million concurrent viewers, setting a new record for Formula 1 live events.

It’s proven a huge hit with fans, with final figures showing that nearly 7.5m of them tuned in to the live broadcast on F1’s social media channels alone, with a peak of 1.2m concurrently watching the event.

Around the world, 42 of the sport’s broadcasters also featured the show in 37 territories.
