Fans are officially heading back to the world of Legally Blonde as Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser trailer and exclusive images for Elle, the upcoming prequel series inspired by the beloved franchise.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios alongside Hello Sunshine, the highly anticipated series is set to premiere globally on 1st July across more than 240 countries and territories. In another major vote of confidence, Prime Video has already renewed the series for a second season before the first episode has even aired.
What Is Elle About?
Rather than revisiting Elle Woods during her iconic Harvard Law School years, Elle travels back to 1995 to explore the teenage years of the future legal icon.
The series follows a younger Elle Woods as she navigates the chaos of high school life, from difficult friendships and forbidden romance to questionable ‘90s fashion choices. Throughout the series, Elle leans heavily on her family, especially her bond with her mother, helping shape the confident and determined woman audiences came to love in Legally Blonde.
The coming-of-age series promises a mix of nostalgia, comedy, heartfelt drama, and classic teen storytelling — all wrapped in the pink aesthetic synonymous with the franchise.
