EE RISING STAR AWARD 2026 NOMINEES CELEBRATED AT GLAMOUR PARTY AHEAD OF BAFTAS

Awards season is in full swing, and the countdown to the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards just got even more exciting. Talent from across the creative industries gathered in London to celebrate this year’s EE Rising Star Award nominees at the glamorous EE Rising Star Party, hosted by EE and Glamour.

Held at La Môme, the chic French Riviera-inspired restaurant inside the iconic Berkeley Hotel, the evening brought together some of the most exciting names in film, television, music and culture — all to toast the future of British and international cinema.

Celebrating 21 Years of the EE Rising Star Award

Marking its 21st anniversary, the EE Rising Star Award continues to spotlight emerging talent and reinforce EE’s long-standing commitment to supporting the creative industries. As part of EE’s 29-year partnership with BAFTA, the award remains a cornerstone of the prestigious ceremony.

Three of this year’s nominees — Robert Aramayo, Archie Madekwe and Posy Sterling — were in attendance, celebrating alongside fellow creatives and industry tastemakers.

The full shortlist for the 2026 EE Rising Star Award includes:

  • Robert Aramayo (I Swear)

  • Miles Caton (Sinners)

  • Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another)

  • Archie Madekwe (Lurker)

  • Posy Sterling (Lollipop)

Unlike other categories at the EE BAFTA Film Awards, the EE Rising Star Award is voted for by the British public — putting real film fans at the heart of the action.

A Star-Studded Guest List

The Glamour EE Rising Star Party welcomed a host of familiar faces from across entertainment and culture, including Olivia Attwood, AJ Odudu, Jamie Laing, Sophie Haboo, Ashley Roberts, Laura Whitmore, David Harewood, Amy-Beth McNulty, Munya Chawawa, Lolly Adefope, Mandeep Dhillon, Corinna Brown and many more.

Hosted by Kemi Alemoru, Glamour’s Head of Editorial Content, the evening felt like a definitive moment in this year’s awards season calendar — blending established names with rising talent in an intimate yet buzzing setting.

Riviera Vibes and Bespoke Cocktails

Set against the elegant backdrop of La Môme, guests enjoyed DJ sets from influential selector Aimee Phillips and BBC Radio 1’s Tinea Taylor, while indulging in refined canapés crafted by the restaurant’s renowned chefs.

The menu featured:

  • Sole goujons

  • Barbecue chicken lollipops

  • Confit tomato and mozzarella cromesquis

  • Lemon torte with Italian meringue

Champagne flowed courtesy of Taittinger, while El Jimador tequila added a spirited twist to the evening’s custom drinks menu.

In a playful nod to the nominees and their standout performances, La Môme created bespoke cocktails inspired by each film:

  • Robert Aramayo (I Swear) – I Swear by a Paloma

  • Miles Caton (Sinners) – The Mississippi Margarita

  • Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another) – One Spritz After Another

  • Archie Madekwe (Lurker) – The Archie Collins

  • Posy Sterling (Lollipop) – The Seedlip Lollipop

It was a fitting tribute to the creativity and individuality each nominee brings to the screen.

How to Vote for the EE Rising Star 2026 Winner

As the only category at the EE BAFTA Film Awards decided by public vote, the EE Rising Star Award gives audiences the chance to directly support their favourite emerging actor.

Voting is now open via ee.co.uk/BAFTA, through WhatsApp or across EE’s social channels until Friday 20th February at 12:00pm GMT.

The winner will be announced at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday 22nd February, hosted by Alan Cumming and broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK from the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. The ceremony will also stream on E! Entertainment in the US.

EE and BAFTA: Championing Creative Excellence

EE’s nearly three-decade partnership with BAFTA stands as one of the UK’s longest-running cultural collaborations. Together, they continue to champion creative excellence across film, television and games — ensuring that the next generation of storytellers receives the recognition and support they deserve.

As awards season builds momentum, all eyes are now on which rising star will capture the nation’s vote — and cement their place as one of 2026’s defining breakout talents.
