FC 27 Is Putting Music at the Heart of The Grounds
Music won’t just feature in menus and matches this year.
One of the biggest additions is The Grounds, a new shared social football playground in EA SPORTS FC 27. The mode introduces three different districts inspired by football culture in England, France and Argentina.
Players will be able to explore Parkside, Montclair and Zeiza, with each location receiving its own musical identity designed around the football heritage and atmosphere of its respective setting.
The Grounds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
FC Mobile Fans Can Vote for Their Favourite Track
The music isn’t staying exclusive to FC 27 either.
To celebrate the third anniversary of FC Mobile, players will have the opportunity to vote for tracks from the franchise’s soundtrack history, as well as choosing one of five songs from the new FC 27 soundtrack.
Voting for the new FC 27 songs takes place from 10–12 September, with the winning track set to arrive in FC Mobile on 12 October.
A winning retro track will also be added to FC Mobile on 24 September, giving longtime fans another chance to revisit some of the music that helped define previous generations of the franchise.
Artists Reflect on Joining FC 27
For some of this year’s artists, appearing on the soundtrack represents a full-circle moment.
FC 27 soundtrack artist KYAN revealed that they have been playing EA SPORTS football games since 2007 and always dreamed of eventually hearing their own music in the game.
Their track Garage, created with Enzo from the Block and Mu540, now makes that dream a reality.
Cage The Elephant are also making their FC debut with Dying In Reverse, with the band describing the opportunity to premiere their new song through the game as something they were thrilled about.
