Harry Potter fans are set for a magical new experience this summer as Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever announce the arrival of DroneArt Show: Harry Potter, an immersive open-air drone spectacle coming to Surrey as part of the franchise’s ongoing 25 Years of Magic celebrations.
Combining cutting-edge drone technology with the unforgettable music and iconic moments from the beloved film series, the event promises a breathtaking evening under the stars for witches, wizards and Muggles alike.
A First-of-Its-Kind Harry Potter Drone Experience
Taking place at Kempton Park Racecourse and Sandown Park Racecourse this August, DroneArt Show: Harry Potter will feature an incredible fleet of 1,200 illuminated drones transforming the night sky into a magical canvas inspired by some of the most memorable scenes from the Harry Potter films.
As darkness falls, audiences will witness synchronised aerial choreography accompanied by the iconic soundtrack and dialogue from the movies. A live violinist will further enhance the atmosphere, creating a spellbinding fusion of music, storytelling and technology.
Adding another interactive layer to the event, attendees will receive LED wristbands that synchronise with the performance, allowing fans to become part of the magical spectacle.
Part of a Global Harry Potter Celebration
The Surrey performances form part of an international tour spanning the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe in 2026. The tour coincides with celebrations marking 25 years since the Harry Potter film franchise first captivated audiences around the world.
The global tour launches with a special one-night-only anniversary event at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on 13 June, where fans will experience an enhanced version of the show featuring exclusive moments created specifically for the milestone celebration.
More Than Just a Drone Show
Beyond the aerial displays, visitors can enjoy a wizarding-world-inspired pre-show experience featuring themed food and drink offerings, entertainment and official Harry Potter merchandise.
The family-friendly atmosphere aims to create a complete evening of magical entertainment, making it an ideal event for lifelong fans and newcomers alike.
