DOMINO’S LAUNCHES CHICK ‘N’ DIP – A PASSPORT-FREE GLOBAL CHICKEN ADVENTURE

Domino’s is firing up the UK chicken scene with the nationwide launch of CHICK ‘N’ DIP – its bold, new chicken offering, made for people who want to travel the world in bites while they await their next flight.

From Monday 9th February, CHICK ‘N’ DIP from Domino’s will be available in all 1,300+ Domino’s stores across the UK alongside the brand’s iconic pizzas, delivering a passport-free flavour adventure straight to customers’ doors.

The menu features succulent Tenders, mouth-watering Wings and crowd-pleasing Boneless Bites, all served hot and fresh, ready to be dunked, drizzled or smothered in nine globally inspired, flavour-packed dips.

To celebrate the launch, hundreds gathered in London last night to be among the first in the capital to try CHICK ‘N’ DIP, stepping into immersive zones inspired by three of the nine dips, each engineered to deliver maximum entertainment.

Revellers watched Lucha Libre wrestlers battle it out to be crowned King of Flavour with Wrestle Mexicana, dunked their way into the Wild West with a Buffalo Hot Shot shoot-’em-up, and belted out tunes in a Katsu Karaoke booth. Dip me one more time, anyone?

Designed for the flavour-obsessed, CHICK ‘N’ DIP is built to take tastebuds on an international adventure. Every bite is a trip somewhere new – no boarding pass, no jet lag, just bold, unapologetic flavour.

For those who like it sweet, there’s Hot Honey, Teriyaki Dip and smoky BBQ Dip. For those who like it creamy, dunk into Mediterranean Garlic Aioli or rich Katsu Curry Dip. And if you prefer things on the spicy side, there’s Mexicana Mayo, Buffalo Hot Dip, and the daring Ghost Chilli Dip (if you are feeling particularly bold). If all that adventure is too much for you, fear not – there’s Domino’s iconic Garlic & Herb Dip.

The national launch follows successful trials in the North West of England and Northern Ireland. Many customers ordered CHICK ‘N’ DIP alone, but over 80% couldn’t decide whether they loved CHICK ‘N’ DIP or pizza more, so ordered both.

The nationwide rollout is backed by new research into the nation’s changing taste preferences and growing culinary curiosity. A survey of 2,000 adults reveals that Britain’s appetite for adventure is increasingly being fuelled by travel, with overseas experiences playing a key role in shaping what ends up on our plates at home.

Almost half of Brits (46%) now take two or more overseas holidays a year, and food is central to the journey. More than eight in ten (82%) say what they eat is an important part of their travels, while around a third (30%) believe travel has helped shape their taste preferences. This wanderlust is translating into bolder choices back home, with one in four (25%) saying travel actively motivates them to try new flavours and foods.

Domino’s Director of Innovation Louise Pilkington said:Chicken is one of the best loved foods in the country, which makes it the perfect vehicle for exploring bold, global tastes. With CHICK ‘N’ DIP, customers can travel the world in a single order, mixing, matching and dipping their way through different flavours without ever having to choose just one. It’s a passport-free flavour adventure, built for people who want more excitement on their plate.

Anyone who wants to be among the first dunk can head to Protein Studios in Shoreditch on Friday 6th February where for one day only they can order unlimited Tenders, Wings and Boneless Bites and as many dips as they can handle.

Guests who arrive during the opening times 12:00 – 14:00, 15:00 – 17:00 and 18:00 – 20:00 can expect next-level food, flowing soft drinks, and immersive entertainment inspired by the flavours behind the dips: Mexican wrestling with Wrestle Mexicana, sing your heart out at Katsu Karaoke, and a Wild West shooting range, Buffalo Hot Shot.

While the event is totally free, guests are encouraged to bring spare foreign currency from their adventures. All proceeds collected at the CHICK ‘N’ DIP Exchange will fund vital care for young people living with cancer.

CHICK ‘N’ DIP is available to order online, through the Domino’s app and in 1,300+ Domino’s stores across the nation from Monday 9th February. To learn more about CHICK ‘N’ DIP, visit https://www.dominos.co.uk/blog/chick-n-dip.
