DJ LUCK AND MC NEAT LAUNCH LOTTO’S LUCKIEST CAFÉ IN LONDON AS NEW LOTTO FORMAT DOUBLES WINNING CHANCES!

Londoners were treated to “a little bit of luck” this week as UK garage legends DJ Luck and MC Neat officially opened Two Yolks: Lotto’s Luckiest Café, a unique brunch pop-up celebrating the exciting new era of the UK Lotto.

Hosted at London’s Old Queen Street Café, the immersive experience marks the launch of Lotto’s revamped format, where every £2 line now offers players two chances to win, doubling opportunities for prizes and creating a fresh reason to believe that good things really do come in pairs.

DJ Luck and MC Neat Bring the Good Vibes

The iconic duo helped kick off the opening in style, performing their chart hit A Little Bit of Luck alongside a set packed with feel-good tracks inspired by luck, winning and positivity.

The launch comes as new Lotto research reveals that nearly half of UK adults (44%) have a favourite song or playlist they turn to when they want a boost in confidence or feel luckier.

Speaking about the event, DJ Luck and MC Neat said:

“Opening Two Yolks: Lotto’s Luckiest Café was a no-brainer for us – luck is literally in the name. We came down to bring the good vibes, play a few lucky tunes and give everyone a ‘little bit of luck’ to start their day off right.”

“The atmosphere was wicked, serving up good energy from start to finish – from double-yolk brunches and surprise prizes to people singing along and getting into the lucky spirit. The whole place had that feeling of good things coming in twos, which made it the perfect way to kick off Lotto’s new two-chances-to-win era.”

Why Lotto Is Celebrating the Power of Two

The café concept is inspired by the belief that luck often arrives in pairs. From spotting two magpies and double rainbows to noticing angel numbers such as 11:11, the pop-up embraces the everyday signs many people associate with good fortune.

According to Lotto’s latest research:

  • 18 million UK adults consider themselves lucky.
  • 40% believe good things often come in twos.
  • 65% say having a second chance makes them feel more optimistic.
  • 43% are more likely to take a chance when they feel luck is on their side.
  • 35% believe that if something good happens once, it can happen again.

The findings highlight Britain’s enduring fascination with luck and optimism, with many people believing small positive signs can influence the rest of their day.

What’s on the Menu at Two Yolks?

As the name suggests, everything at the café celebrates the theme of doubles.

Guests can enjoy a specially curated menu featuring:

  • A classic double-yolk fry-up
  • Paired brioche pastries inspired by Bakewell tart flavours
  • A “winner-winner” chicken schnitzel dish
  • Surprise prizes and lucky-themed experiences throughout the venue

Adding to the concept, each £2 ticket grants entry for two guests, reinforcing the café’s celebration of companionship and second chances.

Brits Still Believe in Everyday Luck

The research also revealed that many Britons continue to embrace superstitions and lucky habits.

More than a third (36%) admit they avoid speaking too positively about something too early, while 26% have delayed sharing good news out of fear of tempting fate.

These behaviours reflect the nation’s enduring relationship with luck, whether it comes in the form of a winning lottery ticket, a lucky song, or simply spotting a sign that suggests fortune may be around the corner.
