Disneyland Paris is getting ready for a spellbinding Halloween season, with the Disney Halloween Festival returning from 26 September to 1 November 2026.
Halloween is returning to Disneyland Paris, bringing Disney Villains, seasonal entertainment, immersive decorations and plenty of autumn-themed treats to both Disney Parks.
Running from 26 September until 1 November 2026, the Disney Halloween Festival will transform Disneyland Park into a suitably spooky celebration for families and Disney fans, with Mickey Mouse and friends joining some of Disney’s most notorious villains for the occasion.
This year’s festival will introduce new Halloween costumes for Mickey and his friends, fresh decorations across Main Street, U.S.A., an expanded Unlucky Nugget Saloon experience and plenty of opportunities for seasonal photos.
When Is Halloween at Disneyland Paris 2026?
The Disney Halloween Festival runs from 26 September to 1 November 2026, giving visitors more than a month to experience the seasonal transformation.
The celebrations will reach their peak on 31 October, when Disneyland Paris will host a special Halloween programme running until 11pm.
The Halloween festivities are included with admission to the parks, meaning visitors don’t need to purchase a separate Halloween event ticket to enjoy the seasonal entertainment.
One of the biggest draws on 31 October will be the opportunity for guests of all ages to visit Disneyland Paris in costume – the only time of the year when guests can do so.
Mickey and Friends Get New Halloween Looks!
Mickey Mouse and his friends are getting into the Halloween spirit with brand-new Victorian-inspired outfits.
Visitors arriving at Disneyland Park will be welcomed by Mickey dressed as a mystical count, while Minnie Mouse will appear as a little witch.
Donald Duck will take on the role of an adorable vampire, while Daisy Duck will appear as a charming bat lady.
The four characters will share a coordinated accessory: a bat-shaped brooch decorated with a diamond, with the colour changing depending on the character.
Disney Villains will also play a starring role throughout the festival, with appearances from Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr Facilier from The Princess and the Frog.
Meanwhile, Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will return for the Halloween celebrations.
Main Street, U.S.A. Gets a Spooky Makeover!
One of the biggest changes for 2026 will be the new Halloween decorations arriving along Main Street, U.S.A.
Around 40 new pumpkins and 170 Mickey Mouse-inspired candles will join Victorian-style garlands and seasonal decorations, while a new original musical score will add to the atmosphere.
At Main Street, U.S.A. station, four new Art Deco stained-glass windows will feature Disney Villains including Maleficent and Ursula.
Visitors will also find Mickey and Minnie pumpkins with gilded Victorian-inspired details in Town Square, alongside candles designed to resemble Donald Duck and Goofy.
New banners featuring shadow-puppet-style silhouettes of Disney Villains will line Main Street before guests reach Royal Castle Stage, where thorns, ravens and villain-inspired emblems will create an eerie new setting.
Over in Frontierland, the area surrounding Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia will celebrate Día de los Muertos with Mexican-inspired decorations.
Mickey’s Halloween Celebration Returns!
A major highlight of the festival will be the return of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, a four-float cavalcade taking place in Disneyland Park.
Daisy Duck will lead the procession, followed by a host of Disney Characters, including some less frequently seen faces such as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar.
The floats will be surrounded by pumpkins, lanterns and hay bales as they make their way through the park to a festive soundtrack.
The finale will see Mickey Mouse aboard Mickey’s Manor of Illusions, combining magical illusions with rapid costume changes for a dramatic conclusion.
New Unlucky Nugget Saloon Experience
Frontierland’s Lucky Nugget Saloon will once again become the Unlucky Nugget Saloon during the Halloween season.
Inspired by Phantom Manor, the experience explores the story of Melanie Ravenswood and her never-celebrated wedding reception.
For 2026, the experience is expanding upstairs, with a completely reimagined area featuring new decorations and artwork inspired by portraits from the attraction.
Music, lighting and special effects will add to the atmosphere, while a redesigned menu will provide a Halloween-themed dining experience.
Halloween Thrills Across Two Disney Parks!
Halloween isn’t just about decorations and character encounters.
Thrill-seekers can experience some of Disneyland Paris’ most atmospheric attractions during the festival.
At Disneyland Park, Phantom Manor provides a suitably mysterious experience, while Big Thunder Mountain delivers a high-speed adventure through Frontierland.
Guests can also explore La Tanière du Dragon beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Over at Disney Adventure World, those looking for an even bigger adrenaline rush can take on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, featuring a dramatic 13-storey drop.

Disneyland Paris will also offer plenty of opportunities to capture the Halloween atmosphere.
1. Sleeping Beauty Castle
A haunted ruins-inspired setting at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle will provide a suitably dramatic backdrop for Halloween photos.
2. Skull Rock
Adventure Isle’s Skull Rock remains a popular spot for family and group photos, particularly when paired with some of the season’s Halloween merchandise.
3. Stitch’s Vampire Photo Spot
Stitch will appear in a vampire outfit at the Casey Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A., giving guests the chance to capture a Halloween-themed photo with the mischievous character.
4. Main Street Station
The new Villain-inspired stained-glass windows at Main Street Station will provide another distinctive backdrop, with guests potentially able to meet Mickey and Minnie nearby.
5. Frontierland
A quieter corner of Frontierland will offer another atmospheric setting away from the busiest areas of the park.
Halloween Food and Merchandise
The Halloween transformation will extend to the resort’s restaurants and shops, with new seasonal food and drinks joining the line-up.

Disneyland Paris is around 40 minutes from central Paris by RER A train, with visitors able to travel from Châtelet to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy. The station is approximately a two-minute walk from the Disney Parks entrance.
