From the acclaimed developers of the Silent Hill 1 & 2 remake, Bloober Team returns with a bold new project — Cronos: The New Dawn. Released on September 5th, the game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, offering players a deeply atmospheric dive into a world where time itself has collapsed.
A Haunting Vision of Past and Future
Set in the eerie ruins of New Dawn — a world inspired by Nowa Huta, the real-life industrial district in Kraków, Poland — Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds across two distinct timelines. Players will navigate both a post-apocalyptic future riddled with decay and a gritty 1980s reality soaked in industrial realism.
This duality gives the game its defining tone — blending retro-futuristic aesthetics, dystopian storytelling, and psychological tension to deliver a survival horror experience like no other.
Players take on the role of the Traveler, an agent of the mysterious Collective, sent into zones scarred by the Change — a cataclysmic event that shattered time, memory, and flesh. What remains is a world hanging between eras, haunted and hostile at every turn.
“We wanted Cronos to feel like stepping into a nightmare suspended between two centuries — a place where memories rot and technology corrodes,”
