CÔTE BRASSERIE LAUNCHES LIMITED-EDITION BOURGUIGNON BURGER & BUBBLES FOR NATIONAL BUTCHER’S WEEK

French-inspired dining favourite Côte Brasserie is marking National Butcher’s Week in delicious style with the launch of its limited-edition Bourguignon Burger & Bubbles – a one-week-only special available from 2–9 March across all UK brasseries.

Blending two of the brand’s most iconic dishes, the Bourguignon Burger celebrates Côte’s passion for expertly prepared beef, bringing together the rich depth of its classic beef bourguignon with the indulgence of its hand-pressed burgers.

A French Classic, Reimagined

Crafted using premium British and Irish beef, the Bourguignon Burger is slow-cooked for five hours in a rich smoked bacon, mushroom and red wine sauce. It’s then topped with fresh pickled cucumbers and served in a soft brioche bun alongside Côte’s signature free-flowing crispy frites.

Priced at £17, the burger is available for one week only – making it a must-try for steak lovers and burger enthusiasts alike.

For those wanting to elevate the experience, Côte app users can take advantage of the exclusive Burger & Bubbles upgrade, adding a glass of French fizz for just £3 extra, bringing the total to £20. It’s a sparkling way to toast the art of butchery.

A Vegan Option with Equal Indulgence

The celebration isn’t just for meat lovers. Côte’s much-loved Vegan Burger is also included in the Burger & Bubbles offer. Made with pulled Fable mushrooms, truffle mayonnaise, caramelised red onion and pickles in a brioche-style bun, it’s served with the same free-flowing frites – proving that indulgence can be plant-based too.

Championing Craft and Quality

Côte has long built its reputation on butcher’s-quality meat and dedicated on-site butchery. From expertly aged prime cuts to hand-pressed burgers crafted in-house, quality and consistency remain central to the brand’s ethos.

Executive Chef Steve Allen, formerly of Gordon Ramsay, Claridge’s, and Pétrus, joined Côte in 2021, drawn by its commitment to craftsmanship.

Speaking about the brand’s approach, Allen explains:

“By selecting, ageing and hand-cutting every steak ourselves, we control consistency, flavour and finish of all the beef and it really sets us apart. Very few restaurant groups have their own butchery and salt-ageing chamber. Even fewer care about quality as much as we do. We believe great brasserie cooking begins long before the plates hit the pass.”

This dedication to traditional butchery techniques makes National Butcher’s Week the perfect moment for Côte to spotlight its expertise.

Bringing the Bourguignon Home

For the first time, the Bourguignon Burger will also be available beyond the brasserie setting.

Through Côte at Home, guests can order a box of two Bourguignon burgers for £14.95, ready to prepare and enjoy at home. Alternatively, the limited-edition special will be available via Deliveroo, ensuring fans can savour the flavours from the comfort of their sofa.

Whether dining in, ordering delivery, or cooking at home, no one needs to miss out on this exclusive National Butcher’s Week creation.
