Cocktails in the City Returns with Activities, Entertainment, & Best Bar Lineup Yet

For Londoners, the return of Cocktails in the City marks the comeback of one of the city’s largest and best garden parties – and August’s edition is extra special. From 8th to 10th of the month, the festival will descend to Bedford Square Garden yet again, marking 14 years of spectacular events and whopping 100,000 visitors, and celebrating with guests with one of the largest rounds of drinks the city has ever seen.

Cocktails in the City will be treating 100 randomly selected revellers to receive a complimentary drink from any of the elite pop-up bars the festival has to offer. And that’s not all – each of the 20 unique bars will mark their 100th cocktail ordered by serving it up for free to the fortunate cocktail-lover.

Festival veterans will notice an array of new bars shaking and stirring their way through London’s greatest cocktail festival, inspired by those places bartenders themselves love to drink at. Select names include the iconic Bar Americain, timeless Zetter Town House, Soho favourite The Lower Third, and Mayfair stalwarts Park Chinois and Bocconcino will be out to impress and help partygoers discover their new go-to drinks. Home House will be making a debut appearance, with the luxury members’ club showcasing their favourites from the Home Bar.

August will also see the return of the B Corp Bar in collaboration with Dover Yard, alongside Gaia, Hutong, Thin White Duke, Callooh Callay, and much more.

From innovative spritzes, refreshing margaritas, and zesty palomas to boozy milkshakes and smooth martinis, each participating bar or drink brand will feature a special menu inspired by their latest achievements. Festival favorite Cafe Pacifico will celebrate its prestigious International Tales of the Cocktail Timeless Award, while Zacal Mezcal—an artisanal, lightly smoked gem—makes its exciting UK debut, offering guests an exclusive first taste. Additionally, thanks to a partnership with Everleaf, non-alcoholic cocktails will be available at every stand.

Guests will also be able to immerse themselves in exciting activities throughout the festival, including ice carving workshops with Sapporo Beer, silent discos hosted by Vapoura, live music from The Piano Works, and DJs bringing the summer party vibes at what promises to be one of the London highlights of the summer.

The Celebration Edition of Cocktails in the City is priced at £22, running from 17:00 to 22:00 on Thurs 8th Aug, 16:00 to 22:00 on Fri 9th Aug, and both 12:00 to 16:15 and 17:00 to 22:00 on Sat 10th Aug. You can find out more and book your tickets right here.
