CHICK ’N’ SOURS RETURNS TO DALSTON FOR A THREE-MONTH RESIDENCY AT THE CROWN & CASTLE

Chick ’n’ Sours, London’s cult-favourite fried chicken brand, is officially coming home. While most people are talking turkey during the festive season, the team behind the city’s boldest chicken is focused on something far more exciting: bringing their iconic flavours back to the neighbourhood that first embraced them.

Starting Wednesday 10 December, Chick ’n’ Sours will launch a three-month residency at The Crown & Castle in Dalston, marking a long-awaited return to Kingsland Road, just minutes from Dalston Junction Station. For locals and long-time fans, this comeback carries the unmistakable feeling of a homecoming.

A Return to the Roots of London’s Fried-Chicken Phenomenon

Chick ’n’ Sours first landed in Haggerston in 2015, redefining what fried chicken could be—pushing boundaries with crunch, character, and flavour. What began as a modest site quickly evolved into a beloved hangout pulsing with good vibes, late nights, and a fiercely loyal following.

Earlier this year, the team closed the doors on their Haggerston location, but the energy of E8 remained central to their story. Now, with the Dalston residency, the brand is reconnecting with the community that shaped it.

Expect the Classics—And Then Some

Fans will be happy to see the return of the dishes that built Chick ’n’ Sours’ cult reputation. On the menu:

  • Epic fried chicken sandwiches stacked high

  • Signature seaweed “crack” tenders

  • Glazed wings in bold, head-turning flavours

  • C’n’S Classics such as Szechuan Aubergine, Mexinese Nachos, and the legendary Chicken Toast

Every piece of chicken continues to follow the brand’s signature method: brined, hand-breaded, and twice cooked—a process that helped put Chick ’n’ Sours on the London food map.
