Los Angeles-based artist Cherry Bomb has released her latest single, ‘Myriad Reflector’, a glittering dance-pop anthem that transforms fractured memories into something bright, loud and cathartic.

Inspired by the disco ball — and its history as a collection of fragmented mirrors — ‘Myriad Reflector’ explores the idea that the difficult and jagged moments in life can eventually become part of something beautiful.
The song pairs Cherry Bomb’s theatrical, operatic vocal style with fried synths and an explosive pop production designed for maximum volume. At its heart, however, is a more reflective message about memory, healing and learning to embrace every version of yourself.
Lee described the disco ball as the “heart of the dance floor”, explaining that its fragmented mirrors helped inspire the song’s central theme: the idea that the broken pieces are often what allow the light to shine through.
“The multitudes of tiny, glittering, fragmented mirrors sparked the idea of how much we need the broken pieces to let the light get through,” Lee said. “Much like our own experience, the good, the bad and the painful jagged parts soften with time and you learn to embrace all sides.”

The new single is accompanied by a music video directed by Matty Vogel, which sees Lee return to her hometown of New York City.
Set against the city’s iconic subway system, the visual explores the idea of reframing difficult memories as moments of joy, connection and nostalgia. Lee has described the video as an ode to both the city that raised her and her enduring love of music.
The subway also serves as a visual extension of the track’s central metaphor, bringing together individual fragments, personalities and experiences to create one larger picture.

‘Myriad Reflector’ follows a string of singles that have helped establish Cherry Bomb as a vibrant new creative outlet for Lee.
Earlier this year, she introduced the project with ‘Never Be Me (M★ther★cker)’, an energetic declaration of independence centred around moving on from a loveless relationship and rediscovering personal freedom.
