This June Bank Holiday weekend, celebrate her Royal Highness in style with a huge classic street party lunchathon at London’s largest adult playground, Roof East on Friday 3rd June. Hosted in collaboration with Naughty Burger, the new venture from the people behind Cheeky Burger, you can expect cutesy picnic vibes, a cake fit for a queen, festive bunting, corgis, themed cocktails, your very own crown and overall… a royally good time.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a royal celebration without a queen. And what’s better than a queen? You guessed it — two queens. London drag scene royalty Kyran Thrax and Polka Dot will be bringing drag-tastic fun to the runway; expect hilarity, songs & games like Trashbag Couture, Lipsync For Your Life and the Sexy Dad Contest. Shantay you all stay!
Each £38 ticket includes three delicious drinks, a very British Naughty Burger menu, true drag magic, more cake than you can throw a corgi at, and a fun night to remember. As if that wasn’t enough, Roof East will be serving up its very own cocktail carefully crafted for the jaunt, the Platinum Garden Punch. A palatable mix of the Queen’s favourite Plymouth Gin, fresh apple juice, elderflower and citrus, it’s the perfect tipple to accompany the fun & games and will be served in a tea-cup with a platinum leaf. Talk about getting ready for the occasion.
When it comes to the food, Naughty Burger will be serving up mouth-watering beef, chicken and plant-based burgers… giving the American staple dish a uniquely British twist – designed around Britain’s favourite national dishes. Expect to be taken to flavour city with lots of vegan options also available.
Having reopened its doors on the 14th of April Stratford’s 30,000 square feet venue is the ultimate adult playground. With the weather heating up and days getting longer, Roof East is the place to gather your mates and soak up the vibes in the long-awaited sunshine, especially over the long four day weekend.
Throughout the summer, Roof East will also be hosting regular nights and events, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for updates. From London’s No. 1 Party ‘n’ Paint event, where guests can get their creative juices flowing with paintbrush in one hand, drink in the other, to the prize-laden Top of the Block Quiz Night taking place every first Tuesday of the month.
Choose Love is Roof East’s charity partner this year. Guests will be able to make an optional donation at payment, and there will also be a special cocktail where 50p from each sale will be donated to the charity.
