BUNSIK OPENS NEW TRAFFORD CENTRE RESTAURANT WITH FREE KOREAN CORNDOGS AND 50% OFF DEALS

The UK’s viral Korean street food sensation Bunsik is set to open its second Greater Manchester location at the iconic Trafford Centre on 20 May, bringing its famous Korean corndogs, fried chicken and TikTok-famous street food menu to The Orient food court.

Following the success of its Bunsik Manchester Piccadilly Gardens restaurant, the brand is continuing its rapid UK expansion with a new site inside one of the country’s busiest shopping and entertainment destinations.

Free Corndogs and Opening Week Discounts

To celebrate the launch, Bunsik is rolling out its biggest UK opening promotion to date, including free corndogs for the first 100 customers across three consecutive days.

Visitors heading to Trafford Centre between 20 and 22 May can expect queues as fans attempt to grab the viral Korean snack for free while also enjoying major discounts across the menu.

Opening Week Offers

  • Wednesday 20 May – First 100 corndogs free plus 50% off cupbap
  • Thursday 21 May – First 100 corndogs free plus 50% off corndogs
  • Friday 22 May – First 100 corndogs free plus 50% off corndogs

The Viral Rise of Korean Corndogs in the UK

Since launching in London in 2021, Bunsik has quickly become one of the UK’s most recognisable Korean street food brands, helping popularise Korean corndogs across social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram.

Known for its dramatic cheese pulls and highly customisable menu, Bunsik’s signature corndogs feature mozzarella or chicken fillings with optional sugar coatings and a variety of sauces.

Alongside its famous corndogs, the menu also includes Korean fried chicken, spicy tteokbokki, kimbap and cupbap rice bowls. The brand also offers halal meat options and vegetarian-friendly dishes.

The opening at Trafford Centre marks Bunsik’s 12th UK location overall and further strengthens Manchester’s growing reputation as a hotspot for Korean food culture.

Bunsik Expands Across Greater Manchester

Speaking about the launch, Trafford Centre Centre Director Simon Layton said the brand would bring something fresh and exciting to the venue’s already popular food offering.

“With its vibrant menu, Bunsik will bring something different to our food offering at Trafford Centre, and given the popularity of its existing restaurants, we’re confident it will be a huge hit with our diners.”

Bunsik founder Jae Cho added that Manchester had already proven to be a key market for the company.

“Manchester has been an incredibly strong market for Bunsik since opening in Piccadilly Gardens, so expanding further into Greater Manchester felt like the natural next step for the brand.”

Where Is Bunsik Trafford Centre?

The new restaurant will open inside The Orient food court at Trafford Centre, which is widely recognised as one of Europe’s largest food courts.
