Popular matcha brand PerfectTed has landed at Bluebird Chelsea, to serve up spring energy in the chicest way possible. The limited-time pop-up transforms the iconic London hotspot into a verdant oasis of vibrant creations, designed to satisfy both the tastebuds and the Insta – fueling café-goers with a bold menu of energising, matcha-based beverages.
From now until 30th April, the King’s Road haunt will offer indulgent iced matchas to cocktail-hour creations on the menu, created in collaboration with PerfectTed, the UK’s leading matcha brand. Known for its sleek cans and café-ready powders, PerfectTed has fast become one of the UK’s favourite matcha brands, bringing its signature ceremonial-grade matcha to the UK for matcha lovers seeking that feel-good energy hit – but without the coffee crash.
The UK might be deep in its matcha era, but PerfectTed isn’t just riding the green wave – it is spearheading it. Co-founded by Marisa Poster and brothers Teddie and Levi Levenfiche, the brand is on a mission to honour matcha’s true roots. Sourced from the foothills of Japan, PerfectTed’s matcha is single-origin, ceremonial-grade, and a far cry from the bitter, powdery “green teas” often masquerading as the real thing. With its sweet umami flavour and vibrant green hue, it’s the kind of matcha that respects the tradition, injecting a creative flair into the drink for a true 2025 feel.
Throughout April, café visitors can look forward to:
- Bluebird in the Clouds (£5): A dreamy combo of blueberry, spirulina and oat cream, layered over vanilla matcha latte.
- Blushing Bluebird (£5): A fruity, refreshing mix of iced matcha with strawberry and vanilla.
- Pistachio Dream (£6): A creamy pistachio and white chocolate twist on your everyday matcha latte.
- Tommy’s Matcharita (£15): A matcha-spiked take on the classic margarita, featuring tequila, lime, agave, and mango.
- Vanilla Sky (£5): Comforting and fragrant, with real vanilla bean and your choice of milk, hot or iced.
The Bluebird Chelsea x PerfectTed collab can be found at Bluebird Chelsea, 350 King’s Rd, London SW3 5UU, until 30th April 2025.
