There are few things more quintessentially British than Wimbledon, strawberries and cream in the sunshine, and the buzz of live tennis unfolding on a big screen – all enjoyed with a glass of chilled rosé in hand. This summer, Bluebird Chelsea captures that spirit in full, transforming its courtyard into a garden party-style hub for the Wimbledon Championships, with a special drinks menu in collaboration with Maison Mirabeau.
From 30th June to 13th July, the matches will be screened live each day, set against Bluebird’s iconic backdrop and vibrant al fresco atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the full thrill of the tournament among lush seasonal blooms, feasting on Bluebird’s renowned all-day food menu alongside light plates and summery mains, as well as special seasonal desserts designed just for the tournament. Strawberries and cream will, of course, make an appearance, with Bluebird’s premium take on the courtside classic (£10), and for those that want to go all out, the Grand Slam Parfait (£11) layers pistachio parfait with sour cherries, cherry gel, and indulgent Dubai chocolate.
Rosé leads the drinks list this summer, courtesy of Bluebird’s collaboration with Provence-inspired Maison Mirabeau. The crisp and bright Mirabeau x Fever-Tree Rosé Spritz and the fragrant Match Point, made with mandarin and bergamot soda, bring a fresh, seasonal edge. For a floral twist, Courtside Bloom adds edible flower and lemon notes, while Golden Deuce offers a richer profile with crème de menthe, apricot liqueur and soda.
Set just off the King’s Road, Bluebird brings a dose of relaxed elegance to west London with its expansive terrace, striking interiors, and lively atmosphere. It remains a reliable Chelsea favourite for sun-drenched brunches, delicious dinners, and early evening drinks – for sports season and beyond.
You can catch Wimbledon screenings at Bluebird Chelsea from 30th June to 13th July, at 350 King’s Road, London SW3 5UU. Find out more and book your space or tickets for special events here.
