The critically acclaimed anthology series BEEF is officially returning with a brand-new story. Streaming giant Netflix and indie studio A24 have unveiled the first teaser and new images for the highly anticipated second installment, which premieres April 16, 2026.
Following the explosive success of the show’s first season, the new chapter moves away from the original road-rage storyline and introduces a completely fresh feud, new characters and an all-star cast.
A New Rivalry in an Elite World
While Season One of BEEF focused on the chaos sparked by a parking lot incident, Season Two takes the drama into a far more exclusive setting. This time, the conflict unfolds within the privileged world of a luxury country club run by a powerful Korean billionaire.
The story begins when newly engaged couple Ashley Miller and Austin Davis, played by Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton, witness a disturbing confrontation between their boss and his wife. What starts as a shocking moment quickly spirals into a dangerous web of manipulation, favours and power plays.
Their boss, Joshua Martín, portrayed by Oscar Isaac, runs the country club alongside his wife Lindsay Crane-Martín, played by Carey Mulligan. As their marriage begins to unravel, Ashley and Austin become entangled in the fallout, each trying to navigate the fragile hierarchy of wealth and influence surrounding them.
Hovering above it all is the club’s formidable owner, Chairwoman Park, played by Oscar-winning actor Youn Yuh-jung. As the elite leader struggles to contain her own scandal involving her husband Dr. Kim, played by legendary South Korean actor Song Kang-ho, tensions within the club reach boiling point.
A New Cast and Creative Team
Season Two introduces a powerhouse ensemble while continuing the anthology format established in the first season. The series is created by Lee Sung Jin, who returns as creator, showrunner and executive producer.
The eight-episode limited series features a star-studded cast including:
-
Oscar Isaac as Joshua
-
Carey Mulligan as Lindsay
-
Charles Melton as Austin
-
Cailee Spaeny as Ashley
-
Youn Yuh-jung as Chairwoman Park
-
Song Kang-ho as Dr. Kim

Several cast members, including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny, also serve as executive producers on the series alongside returning producers such as Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, who starred in the show’s award-winning first season.
A Fresh Chapter for the Hit Anthology
The first season of BEEF became a breakout success for Netflix, winning multiple awards and earning widespread critical praise for its sharp writing and explosive performances.
With Season Two introducing a completely new feud, setting and ensemble cast, the series continues its exploration of how personal conflicts spiral into larger power struggles — especially in worlds defined by wealth, status and ambition.
The second installment of BEEF premieres globally on Netflix on April 16, 2026.
