Global K-pop powerhouse aespa is gearing up for a major comeback with the release of their second studio album LEMONADE, arriving on 29 May at 5:00AM BST. The highly anticipated project marks a bold new chapter for the group, promising a refined sound, deeper storytelling, and a continuation of their boundary-pushing identity.
A Bolder, More Evolved Sound
Featuring 10 tracks on its physical release, LEMONADE sees aespa leaning further into their futuristic concept while showcasing a more confident and mature artistic direction. Known for blending digital-world narratives with real-life themes, the group continues to expand its unique “multiverse” storytelling — something that has become a defining element of modern K-pop.
This release follows their first full-length album Armageddon, which dominated global charts and topped iTunes in 25 regions. Since then, aespa’s influence has only grown, cementing their status as one of the most innovative acts in the industry.
Award Wins and Global Recognition
In the past year, aespa’s impact has extended far beyond music. The group was named Group of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 and received a nomination for Best Female K-Pop Artist at the American Music Awards 2026.
Their creative vision has also been recognised in design, earning a Red Dot Design Award 2026 for the “Dirty Case Ver.” of their single Dirty Work. This crossover success highlights aespa’s growing influence across both music and visual culture.
