DIET COKE LAUNCHES “RUN SERVICE” INSPIRED BY THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2!

If your afternoon pick-me-up routine is starting to feel a little repetitive, Diet Coke is about to shake things up in seriously stylish fashion.

To celebrate the upcoming release of The Devil Wears Prada 2 — landing in cinemas on 1st May — the iconic drinks brand is launching a limited-time “Diet Coke Run Service” across the UK.

Inspired by the fast-paced, high-fashion world of Runway Magazine, this activation brings a cinematic twist to everyday office life — and yes, it involves assistants delivering ice-cold cans straight to your desk.

What Is the Diet Coke Run Service?

Think less Deliveroo, more designer energy. The “Diet Coke Run Service” is an on-demand delivery experience targeting time-poor office workers in London and Manchester.

Instead of making the daily dash for a drink, selected participants will receive a personal delivery from a Runway Magazine-inspired assistant — complete with chilled cans of Diet Coke and exclusive film merch.

It’s a clever nod to the iconic “run” culture seen in the original film, reimagined as a real-life office perk.

Why This Campaign Hits Different

According to new research from Diet Coke, nearly one in three Brits spend up to 20 minutes a day on refreshment runs — adding up to a staggering 104 hours a year.

And it’s not even worth it half the time. Around 70% of people say their drink isn’t the right temperature when they finally get to enjoy it.

The brand’s solution? Skip the queue entirely. The Run Service delivers perfectly chilled cans exactly when you need them most — especially during that infamous 2–3pm slump.

How to Get Your Own Delivery

The Diet Coke Run Service is a limited drop — and you’ll need to be quick if you want in.

Here’s how it works:

  • Head to Instagram and follow Diet Coke’s GB account
  • Keep an eye out for sign-up details between April 17–20
  • DM your office address to secure a slot
  • If selected, a fashion-forward assistant will deliver your order straight to your workplace

The service will be available:

  • Central London (Zone 1): Wednesday 22 April
  • Central Manchester: Thursday 23 April

Once slots are gone, they’re gone.

A Stylish Take on the Office Break

Tara Byrnes, Senior Brand Manager for Diet Coke GB & Ireland, describes the activation as a way to give something back to busy workers:

“The Diet Coke Run Service is all about delivering a well-earned moment of self-indulgence… a small, stylish thank you.”

It’s part of a wider collaboration celebrating The Devil Wears Prada 2, blending pop culture, fashion and everyday rituals into one experience.

From fashion-inspired assistants to perfectly chilled cans on demand, Diet Coke’s latest campaign turns a mundane office habit into something far more memorable.

If you’re based in London or Manchester, this might be the most glamorous way to beat the afternoon slump — no running required.
