Home to 180 stylish apartments, the destination also includes a restaurant, cocktail bar, coffee shop, retail space, co-working area, gym, meeting and events space, a seasonal rooftop terrace and a central landscaped courtyard.

Munich: Schwan Locke

Oktoberfest

 

Situated just a few minutes’ walk from the Theresienwiese, the site of Oktoberfest, Schwan Locke features 151 spacious, design-led studio apartments, as well as a complimentary co-working space, gym, coffee shop, retail space, leafy courtyard and craft cocktail bar. Designed by interior architecture firm Fettle, Schwan Locke’s design is inspired by the Deutscher Werkbund, which established itself in Munich in the early 20th century.

Partnering with the founders of Michelin-star restaurant, Mural on a residency, Schwan Locke houses the new concept BAMBULE! – comprising of a coffee shop serving coffee, pastries, and snacks; alongside a chic wine and cocktail bar, which features a thoughtfully-curated food menu of charcuterie, oysters and locally-sourced small plates.

Edinburgh: Eden Locke

Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Situated on Edinburgh’s George Street, Eden Locke is located in the heart of the increasingly popular, stylish Scottish capital. The six-storey aparthotel boasts 72 spacious studio apartments, ranging from 29 sqm to 33sqm. Each room includes a fully equipped, carefully considered kitchen and living area. Eden Locke is also home to Mayvn, a third wave coffee bar by day, and stylish wine and cocktail bar by night, offering a carefully curated selection of wines and artisan spirits.

The former Georgian townhouse was transformed, re-energised and restored by leading New York architects Grzywinski+Pons.  The meticulously stylish interior seamlessly blends the old and the new, combining the original features of the stunning Georgian listed property, with a dynamic, bold and creative approach.

Manchester: Whitworth Locke

Parklife

Located in the Civic Quarter in the centre of Manchester, Whitworth Locke is a 160-studio aparthotel, designed around a spectacular central glass atrium, including a crossfit gym, third wave coffee house, an exclusive pop-up cocktail bar and immersive co-working spaces for both guests and city residents.

Set in a 19th Century cotton factory, the venue has been transformed by acclaimed New York architects and designers Grzywinski+Pons to reflect the city’s culture, taking inspiration from its industrial past and progressive present. From the beautiful Conservatory Bar to the spacious co-working lounge, every area celebrates the building’s quirks and features.

East London: Kingsland Locke

All Points East

Located in one of London’s most eclectic neighbourhoods, Kingsland Locke houses 124 of Locke’s signature studio apartments, as well as an on-site microbrewery and gin distillery, all-day restaurant, complimentary co-working space, workout studio and coffee shop. Continuing Locke’s refreshing design approach, the interiors of Kingsland Locke have been conceived by East London-based studio Red Deer, who have taken design inspiration from the vibrant colours and scenes of the surrounding Dalston neighbourhood.

Kingsland Locke is home to KRAFT Dalston, an exciting new food and drink venture formed between German Kraft Brewery, Jim and Tonic Distillery and Le Bab. KRAFT Dalston boasts a gin distillery and microbrewery on site at Kingsland Locke, reducing the outlet’s CO2 footprint by 75% by eliminating any unnecessary packaging and deliveries to the site.

Dublin: Beckett Locke

Longitude Festival

Tucked behind one of Dublin’s top music venues, the 3Arena, Beckett Locke is the capital’s hub for music, culture and culinary innovation. Situated at the North Wall Quay in the centre of Dublin’s Docklands, this offering from Locke makes its home among the waves of the young professionals and creatives that help bring the vibrant city to life.

Featuring 241 fully-fitted studio apartments, Beckett Locke is directly inspired by its local surroundings as well as the area’s rich heritage. Within the rooms designed in-house by edyn’s Development Studio, guests will find black steel, exposed concrete, rust-coloured soft furnishings that when combined together evoke the intrepid colourways and history of the dockland. This artistry flows into the lobby area, with globally-renowned interior design firm AvroKO basing the layout on a traditional dockland market hall.
